Actually, don't jump to any conclusions. PKI is the most and has been the most talked about park since I've been patroling this forum. I believe PKI also holds the record for the longest continuing threads...
BTW, so what if a park does receive alot of attention? People talk about what they want to talk about. There's no secret agenda.

It always varies depending on who is building what or what just opened. I don't doubt we'll hear a lot about SFOG, CP, KBF and PKI this spring.

I think it also has *some* connection to the geographic distribution of 'buzzers. I'm not complaining mind you, just seems that Ohio area has more folks 'buzzing - could it also be related to the population of Ohio, and they have GREAT parks that people ATTEND....
DWeaver, love the shiny new sig..LMAO!
I think he has a pretty decent point there DWeaver. I'm glad you brought attention to it. If only we could all be like Jay and Silent Bob, he he. I hope Britney Spears sees that movie and takes over what they started. ;)
Anyways, as an out-of-the-blue little "thingy" I did, I inserted a few different parks into the search option and this is the number of page results I came up with, with the park being mentioned at least once in a thread(their acronym at least and I hope it mentions parks at least once per thread). So, if you can tell anything by my odd research project, go right ahead:) :
CP-105 pages of results
PKI- 100 pages
SFGAm-92 pages
SFMM-75 pages
Kennywood-63 pages
SFWoA-56 pages(not counting SFO results)
PKD-49 pages of results
BGW-42 pages
SFGAdv-36 pages
IOA-35 pages
SFOG-32 pages
Knott's-26 pages(doesn't sound right)
Disneyland-19 pages
BGT-19 pages
SFEG-15 pages
WDW-12 pages (putting in Walt Disney World gave me 141 pages? Does this include even "world" or "Disney" alone?)
That's just a few different parks just to get an idea of what I found.

No scientific basis for that. Just my postulate.

Have you ever considered that maybe it's not the park that's the problem, but YOU?
I think 2hostyl's got a point, but I can't leave well enough alone, so I'll toss in the the "Folks that Know" around here, at least some of them, have strong connections/loyalties with PKI...that's why I think the PKI stuff is often more "meaningful discourse". CP, being the most recognized park on the planet, is gonna get a lot of "chatter", which is also good, but less of it is what you might call "knowledgeable and incisive", CP employees and a select few notwithstanding...
loving this new intellectual feel to the 'buzz.....
rollergator,
i agree 100%. i love both cp and pki but there seems to be much more chatter concerning cp that pki. i think that the most knowledgable conversations concerning an individual park are about pki simply because we have several people on here that have strong connections or loyalties......(*cough....shaggy) lol. but seriously i wish that there were more "knowledgeable and incisive" threads about cp......i love the park, not just because of millenium force.
