What Makes Whizzer Different from The Jumbo Jet?

I was curiouse, what makes the Whizzer so much different from Jumbo Jet coasters like the one at Coney Island? They seem to look the same, and both use motors to get the cars to the top. So whats the difference?

Jumbo Jet's were a production model, often portable.

The 2 Whizzers wer more of a custom installation, expanded and spread out over the terrain.

"Jumbo Jet" is not a type of coaster - it is a layout. Jumbo Jets can also be called Jet Star IIIs. Whizzer (a "Speed Racer") has a much more spread out layout. Infact some people refer to Speed Racers as "Extended Jumbo Jets" (despite the fact that the first Speed Racer opened one year prior to the first Jumbo Jet).
