What makes a good airtime coaster is bunnyhops! The best wooden that I've been on that produces the most airtime was the Phoenix. Most of the time it felt like my ankle was hitting the lapbar! (It also helps if the wooden coasters have 'buzz bars' or stationary bars). The best steel coaster I've been on that produces the best airtime is either the Phantom's Revenge or Magnum.
Also, a double dip doesn't hurt either (ie: Jack Rabbit at Kennywood).
Lets not even begin with my little 30 consecutive rides on S:ros today... :-D I swear to god they did something to that coaster to make it go 2X the speed....lol

What makes good air time is not so fast but a good drop with decent sized hills and no trims to slow the train down.i just wanna say the coasters i rode with the most air time are Magnum xl 200 for steel and Coney island Cyclone for wood but the cyclone has painfull airitme becuase it hurts ur thiys and gave me 2 nice sized bruces so if not the cyclone for wood then eather Thunder hauk at Dorney park or blue streak at Cedarpoint and i know those coasters dont get the best air time but they did for me since i havent been to many parks with alot of wooden coasters yet.
Great American Scream Machine at SFoG is the perfect air-time machine for me. It has ejector air and floater air. The roughness is just right to make a woodie perfect. I love it.

GASM @SFoG, I love that ride, but I can't get air on it:(, it's just one of those things, Viper gives it to me, though.
Just remembered I met a guy with the wife @PKD and he talked me into getting on Rebel Yell backwards, I'd never had the fancy to want to ride backwards for some reason, and after riding it forwards, it was just too reminiscent of a ride at Carrowinds that I rode too much:), but backwards! I will never pass on a backwards ride, ever! It was almost too much air for me to breathe! I found it unbelievable.
