What kind of expansion would you like to see for RCT3?

I was wondering what some of you think would make an interesting and fun expansion ( when and if they can make it run smoother) for RCT3.

I myself would have to go for if you could build hotels for your peeps to stay in.

And, those carnival games like basketball shooting, or knock down 3 milk jars. And the peeps could win pizes like stuffed animals and stuff like that.

So what do you think??

i'm not sure what to put here..

Game booths would be a plus, plus a variety of coaster types, other than what they have (of what I seen, not too impressive on the trains). More water park options, like a tornado slide, so you can build water slides such as Geauga Lakes Hurricane Mountain. A ride like My. Hydes nasty fall (GL) or Demon Drop (CP) those are an essential to me. Coaster impmrovements in importing RCT and RCT2 coasters. (My friend built a huge coaster and I can't get it to work with RCT3, The only way to do that is to edit the track work). Ferry Rides across big lakes. Water shows! I think thats a good section of things to add, that they don't think of, and thats if this dumb game ever functions right!
A checkbox that allows the park to manage itself, allowing you to build and ride without worrying about such small details. I was discussing the game with a friend last night, and I realized that this was one of the main flaws of the game. In RCT1 and 2, you build rides, add food stalls, drop in staff, and the park basically runs itself. This ease of use makes those games fun, because you can continue to build your park while paying minimal attention to what's already running. RCT3, on the other hand, takes away from your freedom by making you micro-manage your park. You have to train/adjust pay of/prevent walkouts with staff, call mechanics to each ride for faster repair, constantly adjust the prices of rides, repair a ridiculous amount of vandalism... the list goes on and on. I built a park with 5 rides, and already lost interest, simply because I had to spend so much time maintaining what I had already built. By time you've built another ride, dozens of things need fixed or adjusted elsewhere.
Heres where I'll agree to differ, Its more like real life like what we asked for. In real life if a staff member isn't happy about working their with their job, their not going to want to work, especially if they have little or no training. YOu still had to assign staff to parts of the park just like rct1 and 2. If you assign it makes the whole park easier and rides get fixed faster. If you place them right after building a ride, no problemo! That way you don't have to think about anything but the scenario or challenge at hand. Its not that hard, this game is to easy! If you know how to master it, its not really that hard. As long as the game functions right, I'd be happier!
I'd like to see a dark ride expansion pack, along with more flat rides we don't have yet (like the Intamin Freefall for instance).

As for micro-managing the game...I really haven't had a problem with that. I had more vandalism problems in both RCT 1&2 then I do now. And while I do occasionally have to train staff or fire them and replace it really hasn't been too often. My parks pretty much run themselves for the most part as is. I actually think they run a bit better overall actually then anything I did in RCT 1 or 2. This is all post patch 2 of course. Prior to that, the game AI was a mess and things needed repaired all the time!

I'd like to see launch coaster actually accelerates to a top speed. Make it like the giga coaster cable lift, but on a flat piece of track and make it go fast. A ride that goes 0 to 70 before it gets out of the station is dumb.
Yea definaltly, One thing I've noticed is over scattered RCT3 forums is that the people are requesting more track peices to build more accuralty like the (and dont' quote me on this) i think its the top hat inverted for the stratacoaster. Most of all, its importanat, that the average users be able to support it and actually play. ;)
How do you train staff? I haven't been able to do that..
When you click on the staff member there should be a discepline button somwhere.

i'm not sure what to put here..

at the hire screen there is a (+) sign next to that it changes to a (-) and there are some buttons under it theres one to hire, if you roll your mouse over it it should have a pop up to train staff.
More and more flat rides. The selection still sucks IMO, but it has improved. I still want more freedom building coasters, we are still limited to 4 directions if we want to add anything fancy. Variable angles of descent would be nice, more than just 30º, 60º and 90º. How about adding something in the 75-80º range, and maybe a 45º angle.

Oh yea, beer vendors and roaming vendors would be sweet, and I second the idea of game booths -- a real cash cow :)

Also, I like the idea of "real" water slides where you jump on at the top and get off at the bottom, maybe the new ex-pack will have them.

I'd also like to see addition by subtraction -- get the thing to run smoothly on more than 1 in 1000 computers.! *** Edited 2/22/2005 4:09:52 PM UTC by RamblinWreck***

Of corse as stated I agree with more track pieces, ones in particular i'd like to see are more higher curved drop's and inclines sorta like how , I wish the stratacoaster had that opition so the incline up and base of the drop on the other side don't look so stupid cause there so small. I definitly enjoy the overbanked turns they gave us its cool but i think instead of having your typical small and large they should have a "X-Large".

Even more rides! like at cedar point. all those flat rides they have. and i think they should have more advanced coaster building.
I'd really just like the game to work decently. I really like all of the rides and scenery and such, but I can't hardly open the park without severe slowdowns.

As nice as the game looks, its performance is ridiculously poor. Thats the real expansion they need!

Cedar Point has flat rides?

You can build in more than 4 directions... the problem is that you are limited on the additional 4 directions. When you do a 45 degree turn, you can only go up or down with the track pieces, and not include any helix, sharp turns, loops & so forth... it would add to realism if you could do more with those other 4 directions besides some ups, downs, & straight track.

A few other prefabricated coaster pieces would be nice. I like the overbank turns, large corkscrews, and quarter loop pieces... but they definately need more for more freedom, especially on the choices of coasters. Don't just limit it to those coasters that have been built with that particular feature... lemme put a vertical drop on a Arrow looper, lemme put a giant loop on an intamin... it's what makes it fun...

I want to be able to build walls/fences along the side of a piece of path!!!!!
I think there covering the aspect of flats very well with the New pack that will eventually be out.

I would really like to see a RCT version that has less power than RCT3 so that more people can run it.

2005 Magnum XL-200 Ride Op 2004 Shivering Timbers Ride Op
Its not that it doesn't have power, what it needs is to have power, just not to the extent that everytime you run it it slows down, If i could find a program for the rct3 extension, .OVL I would be able to take it aprt more easliy and view some slowdowns, but I just think it has poor running performance, yet even so...I still find it fun.
