I have to say "Revolution" (First 360 degree looping coaster) at Magic Mountain is my favorite. It was even better when it only had a lap bar. It's not tall, not very fast, but the setting is second to none. Sorry I only rode it 23 times in one day. By the by, how do you ride a coaster with the reputation of "Raptor" 81 times in a day?

I didn't see any rides from SFGA on your list Wildcat! That park sucked in comparison to all of the others. I've been a woodylover all of my life (hence the name). The Beast is the BE_ST... that was until I rode the Raptor in the back seat. MY GOD, the g-forces are second to none. I don't want to ride another ride at CP. The 'pull-over the top' effect on the Cobra roll is purely sexual. I love the Beast, the Mean Streak, but the Raptor back seat destroyed those thoughts, I'm in love!!
Ok, let's see Favorite ride? Spiderman, Favorite coaster probaly Volcano, but Apollo, Magnum, Twister, Great White (Jersey), Wildcat (HP), CI Cyclone, Exterminator, Ice and Fire Dragon, Hulk, Phoenix and Leap the Dips are all up there. (And yes I do see the irony in the fact that most of my favorite rides are not at my favorite park CP).
Oh yeah and please specify what SFGA your talking about becuase SFGAd and SFGAm are two diffrenet places.

I really love the Magnum, but my favorite ride would have to be the Gemini. I just love that ride and i love the dueling tracks and giving people fives when the trains pass each other. =)

Favorite park has nothing to do with my selection as you could see. Alpengeist was incredible, but the movement of the Raptor still takes it. Next winter we will all be oozing with stories of our summers and competing to see which ride was our best...the Raptor will fall as my #1, but will these new ones change your mind JeremyG?? I see that you have many, but what is the best Roller Coaster in your book, Volcano? Give me a quick run on Volcano, I haven't experienced it.

Raptor is the best ride out there.... but Gemini and Shivering Timbers are so close becuase of there overall fun factor... anyone ever ride Shivering Timbers??? I can tell you this, it is about 10x as much "air time" as magnum's "air time". And Gemini, becuase no wait at all, sweet drop, and good lasting ride because you call yell at people =)
As of the end of last season, my favorite rides were:
Steel Coaster: Raptor- Cedar Point
Wood Coaster: Big Dipper- Geauga Lake
Flat Ride: Bayern Kurve- Kennywood
Drop Ride: Power Tower Turbo Drop- Cedar Point
Montu, Big Bend, Matterhorn
Hey, T-Wolf, glad to see someone call out for the Timber Wolf. I loved that ride - very intense. It's my #5 woodie. (I have a tie for #1 between the Raven at Holiday World and the late lamented Screechin' Eagle at Americana. My #1 steel is the Magnum). I assume from your info that your home park must be SFOG. My wife and I are going there in a couple weeks. Any advice?

Ghostrider(KBF) is by far my favorite coaster in the world so far. Goliath, Raven and Stealth are also favorites of mine.
