I personally find that keeping track of what rides I've been on is fun while counting individual laps turns riding into a job which I'm doing less for fun and more for numbers...thus, I simply don't do it.

...."sea - son.....what is this season you speak of?" If you don't recognize this as original Star Trek, you might be too young....lol.
I couldn't and wouldn't keep count of individual rides....and having coasted frequently on/around New Years'. Sorry guys, payback time....after having ridden a wide selection of your treasures already this summer, and turning absolutely green with envy, those in the Midwest and North must suffer my *wrath* a little bit.....MAN are those some fantastic rides. Weird thing though, SFoG's "season" ends SOOOO early, and Wild Adventures (only 3 hours' drive to the south) is open year round (weekends only of course, but talk about having "the run of the place".....With Cheetah, Double Shot, and now Power Surge and Kite Flyer, as well as a smoother-rhan-average Boomerang and SLC, I expect to see some folks there about 6-8 months from now....

I've ridden Cornball Express more than any other ride this year. I've been to IB 4 times. On LoCoSuMo media day I sat on Cornball at 3:00pm and didn't get off except to change seats occaisionally at 5:15. With the at least 10 rides I took on all the other days, I'd have to say that would be roughly 50 rides so far on it, probably 20 on the Hurricane, 9 on Galaxi, 4 on Tig'rr and 4 on Lost Coaster. I'll go to IB at least 4 more times this year and will most likely add another 50 rides. I've also been to CP, HW, PKI, Fun Spot, and SFKK. I plan to go to MIA, Stricker's, LeSourdville Lake-The Great American Amusement Park, SFGA and return trips to HW CP, and PKI, so I'd have to say that I'll have around 634 individual rides this year, but I might be way off on those numbers, I really don't know.

Last year... 105 rides on 45 different coasters
This year so far... 42 rides on 15 different coasters
Keep in mind, I don't "power ride", I don't get to parks as much as some people, and when I am at a park (in particularly a new park) I like to see the whole park, not just spend my time re-riding the same coaster over and over and over again.
