What is with these Wacky Birds?

Have you ever noticed that on some coasters, Birds will nest in the weirdest places? For instance, the Brake Run of Millennium Force, if you look in some of the hollow squares in the brake support, you can see birds nests! Plus, why would they choose a location that they fly out of everytime a train goes by? :)

Maybe they are enthusiast birds! If you were a bird, where would you roost?

I was riding Mantis once in the front seat, and the nose cone on the front of the train hit a bird at the top of the 360-turn after the diving loop. All I saw was a puff of feathers. :)
There were rabbits running everywhere under Thunder Road at Carowinds when I went this morning :)

I like that, it's funny. Never thought of it that way before but I have seen birds nesting on/near coasters. Are they cat birds? Cat birds build nests like, say on your porch, and fly in and out of the nest all day long, occassionally attacking moving things(like cats).
There were some birds on Magnum, too. The girl said she had to keep her eye on them. Right on the line next to the front seat, in the overhang on the cover:). We were boarding this spring and one almost got her.
They just get used to the noise and such, and especially with places like Cedar Point, it's literally a smorgasboard. All the food that people drop or deliberately feed the birds, and all the bugs from the lagoons, wow, they'll never have to worry about food.

I remember the rabbits that lived under the Raptor loop a few years back - it was the cutest, craziest thing: a cute little bunny just nibbling away every time an 8-ton train roared through the loop. I still wish I'd taken a picture!
