I am talking about the red, steel corkscrew track on the coverof the Manual and box. It just dose not make sense. It looks like a hill turning into a helix, but if you look behind that at the piece behind it, there is no way it could fit unless the track flipped.
Also the Train lacks upstops and guide wheels.
lol. I love it. That is just the sort of over-analytical question I would ask.
------------- If I'da thought about it a little longer, I'da spent more time thinking.
I always thought that is was a corkscrew.
Obviously the game designers didn't put much thought behind the box.
------------- ...But that's just my opinion. Unless it's also someone else's.
I think it looks like a corkscrew that doesn't go upside down.

a corkscrew that dosen't go up-side down. is that possible?

On SROS, there is a hill that is sometimes called a non-inverting corkscrew. It bears a little resemblance to what's on the box. Also, check out the back of the original RCT box. There seems to be a lethal lack of track right in the middle!
Maybe it's a new inversion from some coaster manufacturer.

I noticed that today. I think it sorta looks like an inverted corkscrew, but a steel corkscrew train on it. Hmm...weird.

I noticed the box immediately and thought, "How can I do that?"
Well, I have created something similiar by going up to steep then steep twisting 180 degrees. I then go level then steep down to a twist 180 degrees in the other direction. Then I go level and go back up and twist 180 degrees in the first direction. keep repeating and you will end up with a rather interesting looking element that can be shot through with an in-line twist for a nice effect.
