I am positive it was Summit Plummit, and have heard nothing of a taller waterslide, but there IS a tall water ride coming to Southern Indiana....oh wait, it's ARRIVED......:).

Hee hee a commen misconception. the worls tallest waterslide is Insano at Beach Park near Forteleza in Brazil. Its 41m tall which is about 15ft taller than Summet Plummet.

roomraider, is that newer than S.P., 'cause it was a Travel Channel show that called SP the "World's tallest"....? (might have been an older show, or just plain "rong")....

I can't imagine walking up that thing.

World's tallest wedgie slide! Turn any shorts into a thong instantly!

Honestly... why the hell would anyone build something like that?

LOL great stuff Jeff. I would ride it but I don't know if I would ride more than once. Tends to hurt the butt after the first time.

Threw my back out after riding summit plummet in September... Fun ride, though... Great theming throughout the whole park...

its intresting how people seem to always critasise this ride and not Summit Plumet. Something to do with good old american ignorance i think lol. Its exactly the same excetp 15ft taller and in brazil. Will be intresting to see if the same thing happens here

What are you talking about? Who does "always" and what does it have to do with one's nationality?

This topic was posted on both Danimation and thrillnetwork a while back and after leaving it about a week i got back and there were flames about how it had to hurt loads more than sumit plumit and about shoddy design because it was in Brazil.

I can see that happening here lol

I dunno Roomie, I can remember when you (we) found out about that slide, but I still tend to agree with the consensus. Not that it would hurt any more than Summit Plummit, but that Summit Plummit is better because it's much more themed, and from those pictures, SP seems to be a little steeper.

Hey

I agree about the themeing but it angers me when people say about shoddy workmanship when its built by the same companys lol. Just makeing sure no one says that here.

I think that SP is probably a better overall ride with the themeing but Inasno would have a much more exposed feeling and it just looks insan......o (poor i know)

I'll just stick with Perilous Plunge...tallest water drop without the wedgie and bathing suit! :)
I love waterslides. They have one at Wild River Country called Vertigo, it looks weird. They shoot you down a 50 ft totally dark tunnel. Into a bowl of water, and then flush you out of the bowl.

correct me if im wrong, but isnt PKD's black tube slide on pipeline peak the tallest *enclosed* water slide? i know its not the tallest, but still just a little too tall for me. i mean, i got a bad enough wedgie off of a 30-50 ft one.

Don't laugh at me but I get more nervous on them rather than coasters. Not that I think there dangerous, just the gut other people get on coasters. Actually I shouldn't say I get more scared because I don't really get scared on coasters, I just love them.

Roller Coasters or sports? I guess there are questions nobody can answer!

Those drop slides scare the crap out of me! I rode Summit Plummet at BB and my legs were shaking like crazy.......
