From start of launch to just before the pull-up. Anyone?
The exact stats, I don't know, but it is UNBELIEVEABLY short. I was shocked when I saw it! Just doesn't seem possible. This picture might give you an idea: http://www.coastergallery.com/2000/pkd42.html I was with Joel when he took that picture, and if I remember right, then train was sitting at the launch position, or at the MOST a 5 feet or so into the launch. Perhaps you can make an educated guess from that picture. Here's another point of view: This one is sitting at the launch position. (The tires are before the launch position) Pretty freaky, no? http://www.coastergallery.com/2000/pkd39.html
Hope this helps. ------------- - Peabody
Very short, indeed. I finally got my ride on Sunday, May 27, 2001; IT ROCKS!

That has to be shorter than what it is high.

I've done some calculating: If the accleration is same on every parts of the launch, the launch track is 104 ft long. I had to change some stats to metric so there might be some errors.
I do believe they said on the Discovery special that it was around 130 feet.
