What is the best time of year to go to IOA and Un

I plan on making my first trip ever to Universal Studios and IOA later this year and I was just wondering what months are the best when considering traffic, line waits, etc. Any information would be helpful.
I went down during the end of January this year and the parks were practically empty! The temps were in the 70's and the weather was perfect. A great time to go if you ask me!

The Pens will win the Stanley Cup in 2002!
I went in early April 2000. The parks were empty. I rode Hulk and Dueling Dragons 10 times each that day. The weather was in th low to mid 80s
any time if you stay at their hotels, IMO it's better to shell it than to wait.

Most Parks are prety empty during Cristmas time,Try it then.
I went in Feb this year and it wasn't that bad, but it was over President's Weekend.

"Riding High"

The Devils are going to get buried, by an AVALANCHE! Lets get it for Bourque!

Because you said this year and some posts have mentioned months that have already passed, I will tell you the best times for the remainder of the year. September and October are best. The 2 weeks after Thanksgiving are real good also. Don't go Christmas week, it is mobbed. And Labor Day weekend is out also.

If you stay at the hotels there, you can get front of the line for every ride there(only once per ride but there are employees that don't know
that). Hard Rock Hotel is the cheaper hotel at about $150 or so. If you have an ENTERTAINMENT dicount card you can get it for $20-30 cheaper. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the help. I'll probably go in either October or first week of November. I'll be sure to stay away during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can't wait to get on the Hulk and see what all the fuss is about.
The first week in November is a good choice. I was there last year at this time and never had to wait more then 20 minutes for anything at IOA. Most waits were 5-10 minutes. This wasn't true at the Disney parks though. They had much more substantial waits. Weather was very nice too - none of the rain-every-afternoon Florida weather.
