What is that next to IOA?

While I was on a trip to IOA in late May. I saw some construction going on next to IOA only to big for one coaster but it was a large chunk of land which the were constructing a building but not a to small for a hotel. Is this a new themed area or something?

They flatly deny any rumors of new rides, saying "nothing is on the board."

Possiden's Fury is having soft openings. The word is that the ride is more scarey, with things happening as you move from room to room.

They'll have 3 hotels on property, all the benefits are moving to hotel guests. People are grumbling about the Express Pass system because it really doesn't work, and they're cutting back on FOTL (Front of the Line) access for hotel guests, now making it 1 pass per ride per day, then they get to use the Kiosk machines (joy joy). They'll enforce this with hotel key readers at the entrance to each ride. The reason people are grumbling is because they booked their vacations thinking they would get FOTL all day, but as with all things in life, if it's too good to be true, then it is, and in this case, it will be scaled back. The other reason is that they keep changing the rules during the season.

The solution is not to build complicated Express Pass systems, but to build more roller coasters and attractions.

Aww man, I really liked that FOTL access when I went in April, it was the greatest thing ever. But like you said robvia, if it's too good to be true, then it probably is.

What do you mean Posiden's Fury is having soft openings? I was there Super Bowl weekend and it open! It was pretty cool, but I don't know if you could call it scary.

I just got back an hour ago from IOA. I was at the park 5 of the 10 days I was there. There was nothing going on with Posidens Fury .There weren't any soft openings that I saw. I read somewhere that it will open the end of July.

I also stayed at Hard Rock and found the new Express system for onsite guests work pretty good. Sure its not FOTL like last summer, but the most I waited for any ride was 10 min.,still beats the 75 min. wait for Hulk and Spiderman.

Yesterday I saw 2 suits walkin around the park so I decided to follow them and listen for any juicy plans or rumors. But I came up empty handed. The only thing I overhear was something about some paint.Oh well.
