what is SROS?

I *do* abbreviate Knoebels as KG, but I try to make sure readers know I'm not talking 'bout Kevin Garnett....(with me, you can never be TOO sure, LOL).

And i'm almost certain if you mentioned PBR to one of the CPG l33t, he'd take it to mean a specific alcoholic beverage...;)

BTW, NewYorkSuperman had the correct answer, S:RoS is simply one of the finest, if not THE finest, steel coaster available....as always, YMMV....;)

ok gator...is "YMMV" a secret acronym? If not, what does it mean?

Antuan,

I believe YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary... Similar in theme to IMHO (In My Humble Opinion). But YMMV is used by those people whose opinions are NEVER humble... (sorry Gator) ;) ;)

ach.....well, as my uncle used to say...."It's hard to be humble when you're THIS good"...;). Actually, humility is one of my greatest attributes, LOL...

other acronyms of note: BTW=By the way, PBR=Pabst Blue Ribbon...:)

The other expression based on this (old timers may recall) goes as follows: "My mileage varied, who do I blame"...;). See, some insist that their opinion is the only one that counts....in reality, MINE is the one that counts....ROFL...

Um, don't you mean S:RoS + PBR = G.O.O.D.?

Moosh - totally off topic but I just looked up my name on Google and pressed the "groups" tab, and up popped years-old posts of mine from rrc. Lo and behold, I saw your name responding to many of them. We go way back!

btw, my response to the grammar and lack of knowledge in some of my own posts back then: LOLOLOLOROTFLRLOLROLL!!!!@!@!!!!11111oneoneoneoneexclamationpoint

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.

I had so much trouble with LoCoSuMo at first, and finally had to look it up on RCDB(ha! another common abbreviation!), and it took me forever to figure it out. Still Don't know what PPP is, but I do know what SRM is, so I guess there's a trade off. I do, however, agree with the whole SFGA and I try to do SFGAd or SFGAm, as I'm usually talking about Great America since that's the only one out of the 2 that I've been to.

Can't wait till the new "BOT" (hehe-book of terms) gets started, I just hope it's not a part of the TOS;).

PPP - Phoenix Phall Phunfest. IMHO an event equal in fun to SRM. It's held annually at Knoebel's each October, this year on Oct 4th. It is one of the two events I try to make each year [SRM being the other, of course!].

If you use the search function and check the Trip Reports forum for PPP, you'll find many.

cool, thanx ya'll for the fast response! I'm not 2 far from Kenobles, maybe I should hit that this year. Next year, though, I plan on finally hitting SRM and getting to finally ride Legend and Raven!

I just tried the same thing to read old stuff since I used to post on RRC way back in the day. I was a freshman in high school, now I'm a sophmore in College. It is so weird to read about debates in the past but even weirder to see my signiture with my ride count at 26!
