I am just wondering what my home park, michigan's adventure was gonna get next year. Supposedly the hypercoaster that was supposed to come next year, has been pushed back to 2003, so instead of that, what should we expect for next year?
thanks
nick
First of all, lucky you for having Shivering Timbers at your home park, my favorite woodie. If MA is your home park, why don't you do some investigative reporting on you own, find out who's who there and ask some questions. Being near a park and asking questions around those who work there is usually a good way to find out.

Gotta ride 'em all!
MA is my home park also (although I kind of consider CP my other home park). When I was at MA in June they were filming a local news segment on the ST platform about MA hiring foreign workers for the season. A lady in management was standing off to the side while this was happening. I asked her what MA plans were. She didn't give alot of information but she indicated that they would add smaller rides (including the water park I'am assuming) and make general improvements to the park over the next couple of years. She indicated that they were looking at something big after that. I'am not sure who this person was so take it for what it is worth. It would fall in line with the 2003 hyper rumor though. Personally I don't think we will see a major coaster (or ride) until 2003.

As it was mentioned during TimbersFest back in June, the park runs on a year-to-year plan. I would guess based off that they know they would like to put a hypercoaster in, but they don't know when. Also, I'm not sure how the fallout after the accident on ZZ is going, but that might have a big impact on future plans.
