i'm wondering everyones opinion on the chiller and please include what side you rode on in your comment.

As for the question, I rode the Batman side, and found it to be an interesting and fun ride. I didn't note any excessive headbanging, but I only rode it once, back in '99.

I rode on the Batman and robin the chiller in 99 and that it was fairly decent. I had just rode Mr freeze and i was definitely more impressed with mr freeze. I like the batman side much better because of the awesome hat-top but i was dissapointed with the incline at the top. Mr freeze has an incredible 230 foot vertical spike at the top which was much more thrilling than the incline on the chiller.

When I first rode the ride i loved it cuz it was my first lim. Now I cant stand it, the line is usaully long and I think its too rough and short
The Batman side and the Robin side and completely different. The Batman side is not a severe head banger and the tophat is terrific. The Robin side is the worst head banger that I have ridden and less entertaining. Based on the improvement to FOF, Robin should be greatly improved by the new lap bars.
Batman is awesome, Robin was closed. The top hat is my favorite inversion - do it in the front. The theming is pretty "cool" as well.

Robin will always be rough the only reason it helped FOF is because of the direction changes caused headbanging and for Robin its just plain roughness.
In 99 i rode on the robin side cause a couple of idoits decided we just all had to get on the robin side cause it was the best coaster in the world. Let me tell you if i find that man i'll kill him. I never had a day ruined at a park cause of the way if felt after i rode a ride. But its ok cause of him i got to sit and relax in the arms of my then cool friend and now fiance Nick.

I rode the Batman side last week it has a great launch, good head chopper effects from the million of supports, great theming. great top hat inversion, not as rough as people brought it out to be, going forward was fun intense but not really a headbanger the only disappointment is the incline I thought it will be vertical and once it goes backwards that is when the headbanging begins.It is a intense and great ride, in my opinion.

Is Robin really rough or is it just a lie like the Batman side was. Every one said it was so horrible but it really wasnt.
I loved this ride, Batman side was the only one open. I didnt have as bad of headbanging as many said there would be. Very fast start.
The tophat was very cool. But has anyone ever had the same problem that going backwards really doesn't do anything for them? Casue I barely feel anything when I'm going backwards.
I rode the Batman side in early June '01. I found Batman to be just as rough and full of headbanging as the rest of Premiere's OTSR equipped rides.
I think they should replace it with a Phineous(sp!) Fogg Balloon Race ;)

Chiller is not rough and Premier coasters are painless. I even found FOF & Joker to be painless.
Well after years of waiting for it to actually operate properly, I though it was okay. There was no line because the park was closing so I rode both sides. There's a lot of head baging for such a short ride, but you shoot out of the station like a bat out of h@ll so it's cool. Just don't wait in line for it.

it was painful.
FoF sans lapbar is quite excellent, though.
