What is differant about RCT2?

Well, I haven't touched RCT in over a year - I was a little distracted with school and trying to derail the Bush push for empire - but hey, I'm back. I have all three expansion packs to RCT. I want to know what is differant about RCT2 and whether I should go out and buy it. I know about it being 4X bigger, new scenary, and new coasters. Here are some of my specific questions:

1) Can I use the parks I made in RCT in RCT2?

2) How high is the top building height in RCT2

3) How many guests can you get? This is one of the main things that turned me off of RCT. I built a giant park with over 50 coasters and I designed it to accomodate tens of thousands of peeps, yet I maxed out the max level of peeps. Is their a built in limit in RCT2?

4) I was searching through my old favorite RCT websites and I found out that RCT Station is dead. I used to join their contests. Are their any good RCT websites out there that run good competitive monthly contests like RCT Station?

5) Any special features that I don't specifically mention would be great to hear about too. Thanks y'all!

1) Not directly. You can import the parks into the scenario editor, but you will loose all rides and attractions and your architecture will become shaped mounds of dirt.

2) I think it's around 630 feet or so, but not everything can get up that high; I know the observation towers, elevator, and giga coaster can, as well as the paths (the roto-drop and launched freefall can also reach max height, but only peeps who like extremely intense rides will ride them then).

3) I'm not sure.

4) www.coaster-net.com has contests; I'm not sure if www.rct2.com has them or not.

The one feature I like the most is the ability to build and test coasters outside of scenarios. You can also create your won scenarios.

Since my coaster buidling skills are very poor (I'm no engineer), the ability to use the coaster designer separately has helped a great deal.

Well folks, I had 35 dollars in gift certificates to spend at the local mall, so I just took my annual trip to the local mall and bought it. Now my I ask the differance better RCT2 and the wacky worlds expansion pack. Thanks again.

Wacky worlds provides more scenery/themeing options, as well as scenarios where the theming is important. I got the expansion pack cheap, but haven't played any of the scenarios yet.

I believe there are also more themed options for the coasters, such as specialty trains/cars

Wacky Worlds totally sucks. I only got it because some of the people who upload here use it so I can download them. I deleted all of the scenarios so they aren't on their any more. Almost all of the new rides suck, and most of the scenary does too.

I could use some of the scenery in WW. I haven't purchased the expansion yet though ($30 is kind of steep).

Same here, jkpark. I'm waiting to see it on the clearance rack. I'd love to get it, but I'm willing to wait.

Chances are the items in WW will be featured in the new expansion due out in october,or maybe they'll do a combo pack containing WW much like they did when LL was released by adding CF with it.

That would be great if WW is included in the next expansion pack.
