Walt had is first dream....
If you're familiar with the Ballpark mess in San Diego, then this will come as no surprise. Did you know that Walt initially approached the City of San Diego to build Disneyland? His desire was to purchase the land that is now known as Mission Bay Park (aka Sea WOrld, Fiesta Island etc...) He wanted a purchase and the City would only lease the land. Instead of Disney, we got Sea World and in Orlando, Walt was able to realize his dream. Imagine how different things would be today had San Diego pulled their head out of the sand.
On another note, this of the media, KNX radio in Los Angeles is reporting "19 people had their trip to Disneyland interupted last evening when they became stuck in an elevator." Note: The hotel was not a part of the Disney complex, but yet the media sensationalized the issue by adding the Disney part. Now that stinks.
