What Happened to RCDB.COM?
I've been trying to get onto rcdb.com for the past few days and nothing comes up. Does anyone know if the site is down or possibly dead? I know this site has a database, but I find that this site has tons more information about the stats of the ride.

Sites been down for 2-3 days. Maybe the web-server got hit by the Code Red or some other virus. I agree that the site wouldn't have closed without warning. It's a great resource (especially considering the strange naming conventions at several unnamed big themers). It was always nice to be able to find the name of specific rides (and find defunct rides). Hope rcdb comes back soon - the random rollercoaster is always cool too!

Duane is too careful to get caught by that worm. Hell, it's too easy to beat. Any server still open to it is one run by damn dirty apes.

Good "PotA" reference...but I read on another site (no names, we believe in anonymity...lol) that the site is getting upgrades/updates and the like. Hope to see rcdb up again soon...

You may be right... I think he did mention something about upgrading to SQL Server 2000 or something. I just don't think he'd be down for this long.

Hey, everything this site runs on all Microsoft software. It serves up pages fast and furious and the server goes months without a reboot. It's not Bill's fault.
