What exactly are the chances of Paramounts being sold?

I was thinking the Same thing^^^. I don't understand why they do not have " TRL Live from PKI" or "Slim Time LIVE at PKD" they own soo many powerful brands why don't they exploit them?

Am I missing something here? From what I understand it's a group of former Paramount execs wanting to buy the parks from Viacom. This may be a much better situation than what some of you are portraying. As far as anybody else in the business buying up the parks, I don't see anybody that would right now. CF is not in a positon at this time, SF is definitely not, and I don't believe Busch would be interested. So who's left?

Take Star Trek -- the original series is closing in on 40 years old, and The Average Joe still knows who Captain Kirk and Mr Spock are. I'd think Star Trek coasters and rides would be in every Paramount Park, and would have been there years ago.

A number of years ago I was at PKD and found Romulans in Old Virginia (I'm sorry, off the top of my head I don't recall the actual name of the themed area). It struck me then, I go to Disney and a giant mouse wearing clothes is perfectly acceptable: the very incongruity of the thing is part of the fantasy of the park.

Romulans wandering around random sections of the park just looked silly.
