what does everyone think of goliath

I think that goliath was an excelllent ride it is not the tallest and fastest coaster in the world...however it is the tallest and fastest "hypercoaster" in the world.
i thought that the ride was great...it was very smooth and fast. it was a great ride especially when you are clibing the lift hill, and you are 235 feet high! then you crest over the edge and make the 61 degree angle 255 foot drop. going at top speed of 85mph... then the second 200 foot drop was amazing...i had my hands up the entire ride, and the high negative g gave me alot of airtime. and at the end, that killer helex, it was so intense i could barely keep my hands up...if you enter it with your hands down, you can not lift them up...thats how intense it is..i think that goliath is the best rid that i have ever been on...what do you think?
I agree with you totally. Goliath is just flat out fun!!! Much too short though. If it were just slightly longer, it would be my #1 without a doubt. Goliath's helix is my favorite coaster moment of 2000, followed by The Legend's grand finish.
I thought Goliath was a great ride especially sitting in the front row at night. That first drop into the tunnel is really neat. The only bad part about it is how short it is and the cars are to big and bulky.
Someone said the reason why Goliath's trains are so big, is because the ride was originally designed to seat four riders per row. I'm kinda glad they decided not to do that, cause I hate four across seating.

Yeah, you can almost fit another person between the two riders. I think the train design is great, makes you feel like you have all the room in the world to flail around. I keep hearing about how short it is, but isn't every coaster over before you want it to be? I know, I know 4,500 feet IS the shortest hyper, but you know what I mean:)!

Gotta ride 'em all!
I thought Goliath was pretty Boss. It really started this Millenium off with alot of Force. The trains are quite roomy and very comfy. Front is the best place to ride if ya ask me. Unfortunately for me the Helix which I was looking forward to was just not as good as I hoped. Maybe without the brakes it would be better. Still a rip roarin ride and great addition to the best rides park in the world.

LONG LIVE ARROW DYNAMICS!!
Yes, Goliath flat out RUELS! I didn't feel that it was real short though but you can forgive a coaster being short I think! Esspecially if it goes 255 ft into a tunnel and 85 mph! It is an excellent addition to Six Flags which is always in the thick of things when it comes to new coasters. It now lets SFMM have everything for every coaster lover! Weather its the intense Golitah or the loopey Riddler's Revenge, theres everything!

Riddler's Revenge: THE MOST UNDERRATED RIDE IN THE UNIVERSE!

I haven't been on it, but I tihnk it deserves credit. Mainly because that first drop lasts for at least 3 seconds+ and I'm sure that the 4 g helix is pretty nice. I won't forget to mention the 3 sec on weightlessness, but Shivering Timbers has like a whole minute of weightlessness.

DOWN WITH TRIM BRAKES!
part of the reason that goliath is such a short ride is because it is very smooth and less friction...but the rid is 3 minutes long, and i know that most of the time is on the lift hill...but it is defenitly worth riding...another reason that goliath was very short is because govonolia designed it to fitted into a small area (as you noticed... there is not that much room for the tract to expande...however i think that magic mountain did a great job, and the coaster was well worth the money (this coaster is still in the top 10).
