What do you love in a woodie? If you could merge the best of two woodies, what would they be and why?

Unpredictability and Intensity.
I would merge Lightning Racer (Hersheypark) and Jack Rabbit (Kennywood) because I think Lightning Racer is unpredictable (you can't see where you're going for all of the track twisted around itself) and Jack Rabbit has great intensity in the airtime it gives you. What could be better than to have a rollercoaster that gave you intense g-forces (both positive but mostly negative) when you were least expecting it?

What I like in a woodie is The Legend. :) If it was a tad bit smoother, I'd think it would be perfect.
Anything, as long as it's not like Grizzly at PGA! ;) No, seriously, I prefer a relatively smooth ride, with just a little roughness, good laterals where I hit the side of the car but not REALLY hard, and just insane airtime. That's the kind of woodie I would like to have. Insane airtime, great but not rough laterals, and a sort of smooth ride. I think I would meld Boulder Dash, Legend, and Shivering Timbers together to create the ultimate woodie, with a little Ghostrider and Lightning Racers thrown in. Oh, and no Gerstlauers. PTC or GCI Millenium Flyer trains all the way. ;)
Personality and performance.
Wooden coasters tend to have attitude and show some quirks in their behavior -- even kiddie woodies. Still, a lot don't really do much, and thus, don't perform.
I want to see a coaster pull air on its hills, instead of just change elevation. I want to see some interesting turns and headchoppers, etc. I want some interesting forces, and a variety of them.
As for coasters, I'd love to see Shivering Timbers made into a ravine coaster.
Then wolf, You need to meet the Riverside Cyclone! [SFNE]
I like it when you have tons of good drops and hidden drops and turns. Has to have great airtime and I love it when it feels like it's coming off the track... for some weird reason, the older the better...for me...

8 feet higher and a 6.5 feet longer drop, could never contest with a 80 degree, non-braking giga-coaster... Sorry, Steel Dragon 2000
the beast, the only other coaster i have ever rode that was like it was the ledgend, in fact it was more like then the SOB, the only thing was Ledgend was little rougher.
I love woodies with either tunnel(s) or headchoppers and great laterals. Roar! at SFMW has great laterals and has an amazing tunnel, making it one of my favorite woodies.
I love airtime and terrain, so I would combine the Beast and Phoenix. Imagine all that airtime in the woods, and then that helix finale.
Someone build it PLEASE!

Airtime! It has to handle the lateral turns well, I don't like it to beat me up too bad.

CDNSN
How about this no brakes or trim brakes till the end of the station which means more air time.

...that would be one reason why The Legend kicks ass!
I would mix the Hills of shivering timbers and the helix of the beast that would make an intresting mix

Roller coaster of Love ~ ooi ~ ooi ~ ooi
I love the airtime-I love the Texas Giant, i get a crapload of airtime in the back seat.I would have to say my two fave woodies would be The Texas Giant/SFOT and The Grizzly/PKD!The Giant is long, I love the way it wraps in and out and around, makes you think you'll lose your head and hands . The first drop is awesome, I like the back seat- my stomach goes to my throat- feels like it is go all the way ot then at the bottom they catch up to eachother!! I love that sensation!!:):)

TITAN CRAZED!!
Well my "inner vision" for a woodie currently exists in The Legend (3 days til we are reunited). But if I were to merge two coasters into one, I would take the massiveness and raw power of Son of Beast and have it finish with a wild speed romp like Raven. Okay, the structure would tear itself apart in like three days, but a brotha can dream right?
Or you could just put SFA Roar trains (2-bench PTCs) on The Legend and call it a day :)

I would want a 70 degree drop on a woodie...Something real steep, lots of camelbacks, and tons of air.

2Hostyl is close, start with Shivering Timbers out and back, followed by Jack Rabbit double-dip into a ravine and end with Raven style twisties. As for the trains it should use something similar to the Coney Island Cyclone except two or three bench as opposed to the four bench to give better flexibility.
