What do you like just as much/more than Coasters?

I ski and snowboard and that is tied with coasters for the one thing that i like the most. As it has been stated earlier there is nothing like flying down a trail at 40mph. The thing about skiing/snowboarding is you are not strapped in like you are on a coaster. The risk factor makes it fun. Other than that i like the same stuff as everyone else music and hanging out with friends and all that.

There's a few things, but not much...

My boo, hanging with friends, partying, shooting pool, music (punk, hip-hop, or rock), being online, being lazy, slacking in school, motorsports, normal teen stuff.

Most of this I don't really like more than coasters, they're just my normal everyday hobbies. :)

See, what happened was a bunch of people showed up for this festival. The promoters said after the show that too many people showed up that did not know it was a "rock show", LOL! It was Rocktoberfest, with several big name headlining acts like Megadeth and Days of the New. Boredom leads to people standing around, rednecks like to be rude, people fight, Mustaine yelled some stuff, the town calls it a riot, they are asked never to have any kind of rock show, especially one with Megadeth. I missed it, we were going but went to visit our parents 7 hours away, everybody else went, though. If it was as good as it sounded, I'm sure Dave will say something about it on his site. Mustaine plays hard, you have to hear that guy play. He's better than a certain other band that's much bigger than him. Not to forget he was one of the forming members.
November:2 Slayer dates, a System of a Down show, and Merry Mayhem. That's leaving out the Oysterhead show(s). I already got my Merry Mayhem tickets, it's these small shows that are killing me. You can go months with no shows, then everybody, your mother, and Ozzy Osbourne go on tour all at the same time.

It would be too convienient to see a show at a park. The only acts they seem to get are country and O-Town. Not that I would expect to see Slayer at the park, but a good show would be nice.

Paracon, I think it's called, and it's this weekend at Paramount's Great America(is that that CA park:)?), an anime convention. Premieres of anime taking place in the IMAX(a very first), and I'm sure there's time inside the park, too.

I also like to listen to music. Some bands I like are Linkin Park, Staind, Adema, Distubred, Blink 182, and Tool.

I like Pro Wrestling just as much as I like coasters, Thats because I am a Pro Wrestler and I wrestle for many Indy Federations all around IL. To me theres nothing like jumping off balconys or other high stuff and going through tables and hearing the 400-500 people in the crowd go crazy. Its a rush that nothing else compares to except of course coasters(they hurt alot less).

Liking something more than coasters!?!? That's pure madness!!

Actually, there's a lot of things I like to do more or as much as riding coasters.

Spending time with family and friends, going to movies(espeicially action and comedies), listening to music(every kind: Rock, R&B, Christian, Pop, Alternative-you name it!), doing art work(ceramics, painting, computer design, drawing, whatever), being a Christian and doing things along with that, going to school(I think it's fun...sometimes;)), girls, watching TV(Friends, Price Is Right, Rosie, ER, CSI, sports stuff), playing video games(PS and N64), reading magazines, the internet... I'm actually sure there's a lot more. Oh yeah, of course going to the Disney parks and just a park in general as well. I'm not even going to get started with how much I like to sleep. :)

I play a lot of Grand Theft Auto 3 and Devil May Cry! Those games are awesome! Long live PS2!!!!

Pro wrestling, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and hanging out with friends.:)

I don't, but my brother does. He just went to see Megadeth twice in the past month, and he's going to go see Slayer...he wants me to go along too, but I'm not sure if my parents will look highly upon that...:)

Skiing, canoing and white water rafting, which I have always thought were the inspiration for coasters anyway. However, maybe you should reword the question, and ask, Within Amusement Parks, what do people like as much as coasters ?

For example, I love a good dark ride, of which there are unfortunately fewer every year. And I love a good flat ride, especially the mid century models. And I have friends who are really getting pumped over the new mega water rides.

There is nothing better than coasters or extreme rides such as white water rafting or skydiving. Sex is the only other answer which can be classified under extreme rides too. lol

I love snow sports, but after going to see Staind and Linkin Park yesterday, I'd have to say that I like going to concerts of bands that mean something to me over coasters or snow sports. The ultimate euphoria.

Hmmmmm other than coasters eh...

Indoor and outdoor soccer, sitting on here, toying around with 3DSMAX RCT and Nolimits, going to stuff at my school, staying up all night at my friends house playing Diablo 2, hacky sack, partying, skateboarding, downloading stuff from kazaa, driving around for no aparent reason, going to taco bell, sleeping, paintball, swimming (with girls of course),and unfortunatly, like most poeple i have to go to high school.
