What Do you like about arrow loopers

What do you like about old arrow loopers. I like the stomach turning drops and head turn loops.
I absolutly love the head banging!
I like how they are unpredictable each and everytime you ride them...how they toss you around - not being too soft on you.
Even though i hate head/back aches, I love the intensity of most of the rides. One of the things I'll miss about Shockwave at SFGAm :(
Hey, Tennessee Tornado is as smooth as glass.

What I love most about Arrow loopers are the stomach turning drops (Viper at SFMM comes to mind) and the sheer intensity of them. I don't find them to be very rough rides surprisingly. I'd actually like to try and hit Tennesse Tornado one day just to see how far they've come since their hey-day in the early '90's (Shockwave, GASM, and Viper). It's too bad we don't see any more of them popping up.

I like the fact that just about each & every Arrow looper is different... even if slightly.

Everywhere from Viper at Magic Mountain, to Dragon Mountain at Marineland to Anaconda, to Steamin Demon, to Corkscrew at CP... big or little... they are all different slightly in one way or another, which is cool... despite them basically having the same elements.

Arrow Corkscrew @ the MB Pavalion was my first steel coaster. I've never found one that I didn't like at least a little(even Shockwave).

Since I'm no longer considered "funny" I will not be including a signature with my comments.

Orient Express was my first roller coaster. Constant head banging was no problem for me at the time. I loved it!

Nothin but love for the tekno humor here, put the signature back.

I love them. I dont find them rough or headbanging at all. if you can keep your head straight enought without moving it they can be really intense rides.

I like the drops, they are always steep and abrubt meaning there is a good deal of airtime on them.
Deja vu, Deja Vu, Deja Vu, do a search before you post, we just talked about this a few weeks ago

"You know its a good ride when you come into the final brake run wiping tears from your eyes."

I remember when the old Double Loop at Geauga Lake seemed so scary. My favorite Arrow looper is probably Vortex at KI.

I was also a fan of the defunct Drachen Fire.

Carolina Cyclone is a smooth, intense, exciting coaster... it beats all the other arrow loopers I've ridden by far (Corkscrew at CP, Corkscrew at MBP). My absolute favorite moment in the ride is the dive into the tunneled helix... very different from the average corkscrew turned double looper.

I feel that arrow loopers are just plain classy!

How could I foget Loch Ness Monster? Maybe I like that more than Vortex.
I love the fact that Shockwave is gone.
Shouldn't this be a Love Thread?

I said 'love' in my post. ;)

CoasterBill, Ninja is a Vekoma. I really cant say I've ever liked any Arrow looper except Loch Ness, which I like everything about it.

To be different, one of the things I love about Arrow coasters is the signature rattle of a train
traveling up a lift. There's just something about that hollow, metallic cacophony that's music to my ears.
