What Defunct coaster do you wish you could ride?

The Bat, Drachen Fire, Flying Turns, and any other roller coasters that I haven't been on! :)

The Cyclone Racer at Long Beach CA. It would be so cool to ride that coaster out on the pier shooting over the ocean.
Extreme roller at worlds of fun!! The first stand up. I think.:)
The Dips and the Racing Whippet at West View Park. Didn't spend much time on that side of town.I'm sorry now that I didn't.
1. Soap Box Racers (RIP)
2. Crystal Beach Cyclone (RIP)
3. Drachen Fire (RIP?)
4. ( not defunct, but im probably never gonna get to Ohio) Mellenium Force (Still ALIVE)
Call me mad, but I would love to ride Drachen Fire, I even had the chance to ride this coaster the year it opened, but I never took my chance(OK I was 10 years old and still scared of looping coasters at the time)

there is also a coaster I wish I could definatly ride again, It is ThunderLooper which was at Alton Towers, unfortunutly, it was removed because it exceeded the height limits and was on a temporary contract. I would do anything to ride that coaster just one more time.

Cool! Thanks, spewey! I will try to make it there this summer.
Has anyone here ever heard of the Red Streaker at Willow Mills amusement park in Mechanicsburg, PA? It was my first coaster and I'd really love to be able to ride it again. It's actually housed in a warehouse just outside of Mechanicsburg. It was a PTC out and back jr woodie. It was approx 50- 60ft high(nothing by todays standards,) but I remember it being really fast with great airtime.
I loved the steel phantom when i got to ride it a few years back... id love to ride it again... both the coasters at idora park... and the old cedar point cyclone....

the closest park to me has one coaster... which is closed

im prolly bored, aim: Pritti Kittie msn: pink_kitti@hotmail
I would've done anything to ride these:
1. Thunderbolt @ Astroland
2. Crystal Beach Cyclone
3. The Bat

I hope that Drachen Fire reopens soon, I remember doing some long marathons on that coaster a few years back. *** This post was edited by AdamNJ on 5/8/2001. ***

I believe the Red Streaker was purchased by a British coaster enthusiast (sorry, his name escapes me at the moment) and was dismantled and put in storage somewhere in PA. I think he sold the coaster to someone else, but the parts remain.
The Bat, and any other removed rides at PKI! NEone else remember the animal safari?
Ok ive read this alot in this thread. Drachen Fire. First of all, its not defunct, its standing but not operating. When its torn down then you can say its defunct.

CP in 2002, get to the point
The Flying Turns, Fireball, JackRabbit, Greyhound and Bobs (all from Riverview)

Aeroplane @ Rye
Rail Blazer @ SFStL (I think it would be morbidly cool to ride a coaster someone died on...)
lata,
jeremy
Rob. I have heard about that too. Its is just siting there waiting in a warehouse for someone to buy and install. A small park like Williams Grove could really use that coaster. I heard the british guy that bought it could not get the permits to install it, or that it was too expensive to ship. I don't which one is the case. I just know where its housed at.
My dad always talks about what a great coaster the Shooting Star was at Coney Island in Cincinnati. I'd like to have given that one a try.

I'd love to try out the Bat... Turns with the train going over 90 degrees, WOW!

My mother told me the first coaster I ever rode was the Idora Wildcat; she took me on it when I was very young. I don't remember it. I'd like to have another chance at it!

I wasn't born this way. My mother made me a coaster enthusiast.

Just being curious, where IS it being stored? I was led to believe somewhere in PA, is that the case?

Williams Grove doesn't seem like they have the money to maintain their one woodie, so I don't think they could buy it. However, Knoebels could definitely use a small, junior-sized woodie... that would be a wonderful addition to their park!
