Maybe in the future Jeff will have to change the TOS page here on Coasterbuzz. ;)

The "translation" only covers the first half of the report ;) The notions by Kinzel, Jasper and Kernacs are to be found in the second half.

Its so funny: "What have we crumbled us into" lol.

@Jeff: The article didn´t mention if (Monty) Jasper was working for Intamin or CP. It was my wrong conclusion since he talked about technical possibilities of an Intamin ride, that he was employee of said company. Thanks for the correction.

I hope you all understand that I didn´t want to start a "CP will get a 750 ft.coaster"- thread. I just translated the bits of interest in that article.

WHile riding White Water 2 weeks ago, I was thinking to myelf a coaster with alot of inversion would be sweet if it was raped around the ride, just a thought.
That sounds like it goes a bit against the image that Cedar Point is going for...

I know, it's a family park, not a park for sexual assault.

What time does the water show start?

Mr Kinzel if you are reading I'd like to see the mega looper, a 4D, and an Intamin plug and play out in back woody. If not Mr. Kinzel how about Santa.

Does the World need another vanilla cola?

I don't think either of them will help you as long as people like Sharpel007 are wanting to do bad things to the new rides; however, Santa would probably be more likely to comply.

It's never good when someone brings up Bad Things (tm). But does being a "family park" mean you're allowed to actually *make* families while being there?? ;)

Jeff, are you getting back at me for getting you a photo of *us* instead of one with you actually in the picture?? Or is there something I don't know about?

-Danny, who promises to make it up to you LOL

No no......there was an incident at PKI a few years that was in the news....involving a pair of teenagers and one of those instant photo booths. I won't go much further...

I love how all of the American kiddies want an Intamin tooled-track woodie, yet all of the people who have actually been on one say it might as well have been steel.

What time does the water show start?

And is that a bad thing?

Balder might be as smooth as a steelie but it's still a very good coaster. If a coaster gives you a great experience that's enough for me. I don't want to ruin the fun of it just because it doesn't "feel" like a woodie...

I am having a hard time finding a translator for this. Can anyone alude me to one with a link?

Zero G Thrills - Moved and Improved

Trust me and read my initial post. What I extracted is the only stuff that is not the same old dragster statistics and a detailed description of standing in line for four hours and having sweaty palms while waiting for the launch.

There are no details about the technical problems and I translated all direct speach from Kinzel, Jasper and Kernacs.

Since the article is written in swiss german (which can be slightly different from plain german), the translators will even have a harder time making sense of the text than usual.

There is no word that either one of the mentioned rides will be built in the future.

some people love son of beast and think its smooth even though the majority say otherwise.

that being said, i want to ride one. i have yet to see a steal coaster have a tight layout similar to baldar at Liseberg or create the same feeling as moving through a huge wooden structure. it looks like a blast, wooden feel or not.
