What coasters do you see daily?

I see Fun Forest at Seattle Center's Windstorm coaster nearly everyday, seeing as I work a stone's throw away. I can often watch their Zamperla Turbo Force operating from my window.

I also see the Rainbow Chaser, their Overland Coaster (I think) that's similar, in appearance at least, to Knoebels' High Speed Thrill Coaster.

I do not have a roller coaster photo as my desktop photo on any of my computers. My laptop here has a photo of the final liftoff of the Space Shuttle Columbia. My work PCs all have pictures of jetliners, most being the Concorde SST.

On your way to work Moosh? That could either get you in an accident (if you are driving) or arrested (if you take the bus). ;)

For the last two months, I've been working in Allentown and Easton, so I've been driving right past Dorney almost every day getting a clear view of Talon, Steel Force, Laser, Wild Mouse and a big dirt pile where Hydra is going.:)

Sadly, I have PGA's whimpy skyline to look at while driving to get lunch everyday. Top Gun is still amazing to look at for what you can see outside the park, but not much else worth gauking at.

And I seriously try not to look over knowing full well the weak lineup, but out of forced habit, anytime I see wooden supports and/or coaster track, I have to look regardless! Then sigh at the sad sight of Grizzly and knowing Top Gun is still the tallest full circuit coaster in the entire park even after 11yrs. Hopefully someday they'll be something more worth looking at.

Yah, PGA had a much better skyline when there were no office buildings between 101 and the park and when SkyWhirl was whirling about in all of its Great American Glory. ;)

By the way, try La Bamba on Middlefield Road in Menlo! ;)

My office looks down onto Six Flags Elitch Gardens. 4 days a week I see the park (great working 4 10's).
I have a picture of Beast on my desktop that was taken my myself, 6 little feet from the track out in the valley!
I (like jo and jan) have the honor of seeing PGA's coasters everyday. Ofcourse, its kinda hidden by Sun and Intel, and sometimes I catch myself staring over there and not paying attention to the road. Anyway, I wish I were drving from Napa instead. Marine World's skyline is way better to look at.

Fate is the path of least resistance.

^ Totally agree JF, sure do miss the twirling red and blue buckets of Sky Whirl, and Willard's Whizzer, The Edge, Yankee Clipper and Tidal Wave too. Even Stealth, being the POS that it was, at least filled in the skyline somewhat on that side of the park.

And I'm with Antuan, the sight of Dusa's 15 story drop/13 story loop, V2 spiraling over the entrance and Roar!'s twisted wooden layout never gets old for me! Would much prefer their skyline to look at everyday over PGAs.

I have lustful dreams about my next Dragster ride. Does that count?

Oh, every now and then I will pass by Camden Park on I-64. :-/

But coasters I see on a *daily* basis are the ones on my website/my desktop lol.

Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom's Screaming Mummy is a daily sight for me. :(
I see the Thriller and Mile Sky Chaser every day. ;) But in all seriousness, I used to see the Big Dipper and all the coasters at Geauga Lake everyday when I worked in and around Aurora and the "Shores".

I see the SFMW skyline on the way to work everyday. Too bad that big blue travesty or a Schwartzkoph is in the way now. Medusa does look real nice from Fairgrounds Drive, but V2.1 just looks...amputated. I suppose it could be worse, but it could definitely be better.

I work at Kennywood so i see jack rabbit, phantom's revenge, thunderbolt, racer, aero 360, paratrooper, kangaroo, garfield's nightmare, turnpike, bumpercars, pirate, bayern kurve, volcano, king kahuna, and pretty much every ride at the park. hehe

Yeah, Kraken is an almost daily occurance for me too. My dad works there, and i have to drive his butt there 5 days a week. Oddly enough, I haven't been on it in a couple of months - summer is sort of the "off-season" in FL. Sure, you can ride, but it's so hot and crowded, why bother? After Sept., you can marathon whichever coaster you please. Nifty topic.

S:ROS; SFNE. Ride it, and you'll understand.
Whatever is the rollercoaster photo on CB!! :>)

Thanks,

When I take rt39 instead of 743 heading home I'll drive by and see all of Hershey's coasters. Actually I am heading there in a little bit for a few more Storm Runner laps. Gotta get my fix.
