What Coaster is This? Yellow Looper...

I came across this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1029518212&tc=photo
For the life of me I can't figure it out! If anyone could help me solve this mystery, it would be appreciated!

That's just a little vague. All I know is if anybody lives near the park with that coaster... it's a yellow Arrow coaster with a double corkscrew & a red train.

Doesn't narrow it down too much, but you can count out Double Looper at Worlds of Adventure.

I don't know I though the track looked like Vekoma but maybe not Arrow track and Vekoma track are awful close.

Cool, it looks like that roller coaster in Australia. I think I'm gonna buy that.
The Big Dipper or whatever doesn't have corkscrews.  So we know it can't be that one.
It's Vekoma track.

I am wondering if it is actually Ninja at either SFOG or SFSTL prior to the relocations there.

What paint schemes did those rides have?

SFOG's came from Conko's Piers in NJ and was called the Kamikazee.

SFSTL's came from the Vancouver Expo in Canada I believe.

Perhaps one of those?

Shaggy - How can you tell it's Vekoma and not Arrow?  Those old style Vekomas seem almost identical, but I havne't paid close enough attention to tell the difference

As for Kamakazee - Wasn't it white?

OR, it could just be a design that someone whipped up???

Kennywood is my home park!!!
Possibly Tornado.

It's yellow and Vekoma.

I really need something...
That something is...
Snake Venom, Metal Dog, and Mad Cow!

Peabody,

The tie-rods on Vekomas are just a bit closer together than Arrows.  Also, Vekoma Tie-Rods include a triangle shaped plate the the bends.

Geez, how do I better explain?

Imagine a staple, the type that holds papers together. (Not what results when a ride op decides to push down on a lap bar ;-) The staple I refer to is shaped like this:

|___|

Where the bends are (bottom right and left corners) Vekoma puts a triangular bracing plate.  Look close at the pic and you can barely make them out.

If it's a vekoma, it may not be a double corkscrew we may be looking at the cobra roll from a boomerang since you cannot see the other half of each corkscrew
No, it's definitely a corkscrew.  The track leading into/out of a cobra roll is a perfect arc as this shows.  On a cobra roll, you enter it and the radius of the inversion tightens as you go upside down.

Its a vekoma corkscrew, the track on vekomas is more squared off with closer ties then arrow othet ehn that it just looks liek a vekoma I don't really think about it I see vekoma track not arrow.

It's at Alton Towers....may not be the exact one, but the coaster in your picture is definately a Vekoma...I think.

Darn, you beat me too it.  i was going to guess Corkscrew @ AT, because I had been looking at AT pics last night and remembered the yellow vekoma with red trains.  Oh well.

"If somebody throws a rock and knocks a man off his donkey, do we say that he's stoned off his ass?
At first glance I thought it was just another Boomerang, seeing as it seems to go back out the way it enters. But then I saw that the diameter at the bottom is too small to be a cobra roll on a Boomerang clone. It's most likely a corkscrew clone.

Drive to theme parks for the food, stay for the coasters!! Knott's Fried Chicken
WHO-HOO! Thank you! Now I can rest at ease knowing which coaster it is. And...why are you going for 500? I will get 500 around TimbersFest:).
