What can I expect at Eastcoaster?

The convention is in a week. It is my first time going, and I was wondering what should I expect? WHo else here is planning on going?

My husband, Steve, GregLeg and I will be there. It will be our first time also, although we've been to Coasterbash.

First thing off there's usually a contest to name a common topic that all the music before the event begins has in common.
Then a humorous video introducing Eastcoaster and then presentations from Cedar Point, Great Adventure, Paramount parks, sometimes Holiday World. Many time there's a couple videos produced by members. A nice buffet lunch, and several sales tables with many different things for sale.
I think the highlight of each year is Paul Ruben's video introducing new rides.
It's a nice middle winter pick-me-up

I will be there also. This will be my first Eastcoaster. I really enjoyed myself at the NCC last month so this should be just as fun, even though I expect to see the same videos. lol.

I am visiting friends in the area also so it's good to kill two birds with one stone I suppose. :-)

Like Lori said, this will be our first EastCoaster. I've been to several CoasterBashes, but will miss it this year in favor of Solace, so EastCoaster it is...
