What are the heabanging rides at CP?

My wife and I are going to CP this week. She likes coasters but hates getting her head banged around. What rides bang you around most at CP so she can avoid them.

Thanks in advance for the info!

Corkscrew, and that's about it. You might get a little on Mantis or Raptor, but the restraints are very soft. The worst one is by far Corkscrew, that's the only one I'd stay away from to avoid head banging.
Mean Streak!;)

and your POINT is...
Corkscrew is not as rough as some other smaller Arrow loopers, but it does bang a little. Not too bad. Not even close to the head-banging expierienced on Batman at SFGAm.

(It's not an arrow looper, he's from the Chicago area)

On corkscrew, if you hold your head back against the headrest it should get ride of 90% of the headbanging.

It didn't find much headbanging on Corkscrew, I thought it ran incredibly well for such an old Arrow looper.

After you ride Millennium Force, it will be every ride.

Raptor at some points but I wouldn't pass it up. Mantis can hurt at times, don't wear earings, Corkscrew, I would skip

You are the Weakest Link, Goodbye.
Any coaster where you have to ride in a certain position(not designated by the park) to enjoy the ride is not a very good coaster.

Well, when I went to CP, Mantis and Raptor were as smooth as can be. No head banging at all.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people.
Corkscrew ,Mantis a little. Raptor a little in the cobra roll. Mean streak was ok. Thats preety much it.
Really, barely anything. Corkscrew will only bang your head if your head is swallowe by the headrest. Everything else you wil be fine on! Only three of CPs coasters have OTSRs anyways! Right?

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Well, Iron dragon has OTSRs, but there's no way you can head bang on that. Nothing at CP is terribly bad. Even Corscrew doesn't bang even half as much as a standard Vekoma SLC.

Even though Cedar Point has 4 Arrow coasters, none of them have bad headbanging. Corkscrew has a bit. If I were you, I would skip it.

But two of the Arrows don't have OTSR. You can't headbang unless you have shoulder restraints, right? And I bang my head worse on CS than SLCs which don't bang me at all. They're just boring. CS is both, but you have to at least try it yourself to get your own opinion.
Come on people...

Nobody even mentioned this one yet... BLUE STREAK!!!

You don't need horse collars to have a head-banging ride. That ride needs some serious repairs.

For a simple out & back wooden coaster, it sure packs a punch of pain! I rode it last year, and it just was no fun from the end of the lift hill to the end of the ride! It was very rough and I would stay away from that unless you want a true classic pain in the head!

Corkscrew is ok. I just don't like the camel hump right off the first hill... it is the most useless little element that any coaster has ever had. Why? Because of the horse collars... it hurts! It's not head-bangi... wait... it is... that's the only element that'll bang your head.
What? You thought Blue Streak was rough??? I don't know, maybe you just hit it on a bad day, or I just hit it on a good day. That is one of my favorite wooden coasters, despite it's small size. I thought it was a perfect blend of smoothness, bumpyness[not roughness], and airtime on every hill. I just found it good, old fashioned fun!

And the bunny hop at the beggining of Corkskrew gives some good airtime, and helps, along with the loop, to separate it from the other arrow corkskrew rides.

The CORKSCREW is usally a headbanger, but I have had smooth rides on it. The MEAN STREAK is a headbanger, legbanger, and spinebanger. They need a chiropracter on that ride, but I still recommend riding it.
SWEET JESUS DON"T GO on Magnum XL-200, the bunny hoops are the WORST EVER!!!!

Hey! If you want the truth listen up! I just went to CP last week and I know that park in my mind, I have been there 5 times already this summer. No rides were that rough at all. If you ride the little mine coaster (mine ride) it is jerky. Corkscrew is not that bad at all, in fact i liked it better that Disaster Transport, Blue Streak, and Mean Streak, cuz you can get right on it and it is a good ride. If I were u I wouldnt ride Iron Dragon, it sucks. I probly would have liked Jr. Gemini better than Iron Dragon. Iron Dragon sucks cuz it is so short, boring, slow, and not tall at all, ITS JUST DUMB. I would go for the Power Tower, Raptor, Mantis, Magnum XL-200, Mean Steak, Blue Streak, all the coasters! If you want a good ride and no wait, go to the Gemini! But if you want to hit the good rides with short lines then I would go on Sunday, or Wednesday, or when you go, stay till they close at night, that seems to be the shortest lines, and hey, you can also see the light, and firework show! But the smoothest ride there is Mellenium Force defenetly! It doesnt even seem you are on the track!

Cedar Point #1!!
Mean Streak is really rough, but there are no OTSR's. I had a headache after the ride because it shook my head alot. CCMR is rough, but no OTSR's and it is easily bearable. Corkscrew only head bangs a little, but the slight pain lasts only one minute. The B&M's were very smooth.
