If the ugly is done on cement, cleanup is pretty easy, just sprinking Petro (Stones that absorb moisture) on it, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and get a broom and the bucket thing and broom the stuff into the bucket and then take it to a trash can and dumb it. (If your smart you find a trash can FAR away, if you have a newbie, I'll get stuck smelling that all day)
If its done on a the ride clean-up is a bit trickier. You have to wipe it off, disinfect it, wipe it off, disinfect it and run the ride. And you can't add to the mess either.
Now this one time, we had a supervisor (who i swore must have been drunk or something) decide that he was going to put Petro IN THE RIDE UNIT! That is a VERY BAD IDEA, it DID NOT clean up the ugly. And not to mention that the seatbelts had little gritty stuff from the Petro in them, and the seatbelts now 1) smelled of the ugly 2)felt slimy 3)had little pebbles in the straps 4) a day that we didn't use use the ride unit (yeah..it was THAT bad) 5) were like that for at least 2 weeks.
And on 'The Monster' (very similar to the spider rides that have been having trouble - but are very different) its very rare to not get it in the ride unit. It was really gross the time that a person who was sitting at the top waiting for their turn to load/unload, and did the nasty, getting it all over the inside/outside of the car, and it fell to the ground (and made the NASTIEST sound!) But at least its not like the story i heard about the person who spend the entire day cleaning up a mess from a guest who had done it all while the ride was in motion, resulting in a ring of the nasty, and it was in some bushes, and on the fences, and it was apparently nasty.
Anyway...this isn't for posting stories on seeing the nasty, its on cleaning it up...
