Whalom Park vandals caught

At 2:30 this afternoon, I received a call from Allyson Bowen, who is leading the fight to save Whalom Park. She told me that the vandals responsible for the Whalom Park Ballroom fire have been caught. Four teenage boys were responsible, but that is all she could report. Financial efforts to save the park have been positive, but a great deal is still needed. Buy a Whale!

Great news! The only sad thing is that these guys will get off with just a slap on the wrist. :(

Question, why doesn't Allyson Bowen just call up her local Merril-Lynch and ask for a loan?

Exactly how much money do they need? Is the park going to be auctioned off to the highest bidder, or what is the deal?

Glad to hear the vandals have finally been brought to justice, I know Allyson's really been working hard to save the park, and it's nice to know that they at least found out who did it. Personally, I think the vandals, assuming they're locals most likely, should have to promote the Save Whalom Park organization now, or at least pay for the cost of the ballroom.
