Whalom Park may open in 2002

let's hope that's true, it is also one of my home parks. i would be a tragedy if the park were to close for good. the comet is one of the few coasters that allows young children on with their parents.

I still have an old pack of playing cards with the Comet on the front hanging around somewhere.  This is a classic, beautiful park, I hope it lives for many years to come.

Let's hope the financial market remains reletively stable. Whalom lost their carousel when the market went sour the last time. The Bowen's had backers lined up to help keep the machine intact, but they all wound up bowing  out due to a down turn in the stock market.
