Whalom Park & Ghost Town In the Sky

For awhile I have been hearing about two parks that are closed. One (Whalom) is located in MA. While the other (Ghost Town) is located in NC. I believe both these parks closed about two years ago. From what I hear the owner of Ghost Town is seeking to sell the park for around $7,000,000.00. And, while the owners (some time ago) signed an option with a developer whom wants to buy the land for $500K +. I was just wondering if anyone has any news about these two closed parks. What is their futures?.. Will they ever reopen?

No word on either one. Hope for Whalom remains very much alive- the Bowen family is still trying to regain control of the park and reopen it. As for Ghost Town, I'm not sure. I heard of interested parties, but don't know how "interested" they really are/were.

Rob - Whalom's flat rides are up for auction.

Not a good sign. But from what I've been told, the Bowens are still trying to save the park. Can that be?
