Western Playland gives up on plans to build coaster

Local officials will not give the operators of Western Playland a 20-year lease extension and more land to build a new roller coaster. They are withdrawing the proposal to build the ride.

I don't know much about this park, but a coaster, especially a CCI would have helped out a park greatly.

There are no coasters there. They need to add a coaster(s).

That's too bad... I believe that coaster was planned for next year, and with both that ride and the Waldameer Ravine Flyer II being postponed indefinitely, we will have two less new CCI woodies to enjoy next season.
