West Coast Trip Day Two

Associated parks:
None

So I have been very busy the last couple of days and have not had time to add my new trip report to Coasterbuzz. I did do something very fun today because on my way back to Arkansas I drove past Great America. All of the coasters are still up, even over the winter. I was really excited and glad I got the chance to drive past a closed park over the winter and post just like my fellow enthusiast friends. I did not realize what I was missing out on! Driving past a park even when it is closed is so fun. I just imagined the rides were running and screamed in my car to pretend I was on a ride. I did not take any pictures though. I also passed Six Flags St. Louis but I did not notice until I already passed it. Anyways here is day two of my West Coast Trip: Day two was spent walking up and down the one road in the middle of Vegas called the Strip. We walked into a lot of hotels and I went into the hotel called Aladdin because I thought it would have the characters from the movie but it did not. It was just a dirty smelly place filled with slot machines. Then we went to the hotel called Circus Circus and I played a game where you throw a ball into a hole and it makes a camel run. It was a lot of fun and I won a stuffed animal and I kept playing for a lot of times because it was only 50 cents. Then we went to this amusement park in the back of the hotel and I rode the roller coaster called Canyon Blaster. It is pink. It went so high up I thought my head was going to break the glass at the top. Then it went down into a big loop d loop and then it turned and I forgot what happens. In the end it goes around in a big circle and then it ended in the station. I do not know how all of you enthusiastic friends remember all of the parts of the ride. I get all confused. That was the only roller coaster I rode that day. We also went and played lazer tag and I got to shoot my friends with a fake gun. I did not do very good at the shooting because I kept getting shot and that turned off my gun. I also got the gun stuck in my hair and had to have my friend Billy help me get it out. Billy is always so silly so we call him Silly Billy and throw rocks at him to make him jump around like a clown. He is very funny. At the end of the day I went and saw the water show at the Bellagio hotel. It was fancy. While we were walking on the street I found these guys who were handing out stuff. I went and asked for some and they were not baseball cards like I thought. They were pictures of naked ladies! I was very shocked and I gave them to my friend Spike. Then we went back to the hotel. Sorry day two was boring but I have a lot more to talk about in other days. Day Three I went to Knotts Berry Farm. Day Four I went to Magic Mountain. Day Five I went to California Adventure. Day Six I went back to Las Vegas and had lots of fun in the big tower. Ok see you next time.
The Breverly Hillbillies have came back to the west coast!!!

All kidding aside, I love reading your TR's of where I live, I love hearing other's opinions of the parks I go to alot! Keep em' comin'!

I have a dream! That SFMM fans will be able to walk hand in hand with CP's!
AND no ONE cares what a coaster is and what a coaster isn't!

thats was so funny, the best part would have to be, "I also got the gun stuck in my hair " or "While we were walking on the street I found these guys who were handing out stuff. I went and asked for some and they were not baseball cards like I thought. They were pictures of naked ladies! I was very shocked and I gave them to my friend Spike. "

That was great, can't wait for the next few days.

we did ride the manhattan express roller coaster and the desperado roller coaster on day six. we waited until our way back from california because orthur wanted to get the two for one coupons for manhattan express that are on the back of the tickets for the desperado roller coaster. we like to save lots of money so we can play more dance games at the caesars casino.

Good move, hitting Desperado and getting the 2 for one discount for Manhattan Express. Most people dont know about that.

I haven't laughed so hard over a TR in ages. "The Aladdin hotel did not have the characters from the movie". Just classic. I would hardly call the Aladdin dirty and smelly, though. It just opened in August of 2000 at a cost of.......(holding pinky to corner of lips).... one BILLION dollars!

It really is sad though that the city of Las Vegas can't do anything about the multitude of "smut pushers" out on the Strip. I guess as long as they are not standing on private property, nothing can be done. In Downtown Vegas, these materials are still available, but are located in newspaper boxes. On the Strip, you can't go 50 feet without someone double-tapping a card or magazine to their hands and sticking it in your face. Heck, I even saw these people attempting to hand children these pamphlets. It's a shame, really. I absolutely love the Strip. It's probably the single most beautiful street in the world, especially at night. But when you look down and see thousands of discarded "baseball cards", it tends to bring that beauty down a notch.

i mean seriously, if you were these people, doing that job... what would your self esteem be? furthermore, if you were doing that job and handing out that stuff to everyone (even children) then imagine the flack you get, all day , every day... if they didn't listen to their britney spears then they would probably go crazy and kill themselves... it's probably for their own good,

"it happens with guidance counselors... if your job was as meaningless as theirs wouldn't you go crazy too... it's important to have a job that makes a difference boys, that's why i manually masturbate caged animals for artificial insemination...." *clerks
