Well, I am not good at writing these things but I will give it a stab.

I will just give a brief summery of the coasters at the parks and what I thought of the parks.

Park 1...disneyland.

I really did like this park, but I think I like disneyworld a little better. This is (I guess) due to the fact that wdw is bigger and has much more to do.

However, I think that the potc and space mountain are much better at disneyland than they are at wdw.

Ride summery...

Indiana jones...Fun ride, a little ruff but not as bad as dinasour at animal kingdom. The theming was great and the que line was almost as good as dragons at universal studios flordia.

Pirates....I think this is a lot better/ longer than the one in flordia. I have not been back to flordia since the romodel of the ride though. The theming and waterfalls on this ride are just great. This ride just seems a lot longer than the orlando version.

Space mountain....The overall ride is much better then in wdw, but I do like the theming much better at wdw.

Thunder mountain....Fast ride, lots of turns...seemed a little faster than the flordia version.

Splash mountain...The one in flordia is much better than this one. There were a lot of empty spaces where it looked like there should have been something there. It also seemed a little dirty. It did however have a hidden airtime hill that the other sm does not have.

Haunted mansion...It was all decked out for the christmas season themed to the nightmare before christmas. I do not like this version. The theming was o-k, but it just is not as good as the normal haunted mansion.

Its a small world....This was decked out for christmas as well. This has got to be the best looking facade(sp) of any ride I have ever seen, however the ride was horrid. It looked very empty and dirty inside. There were very few props/ animatronics and big speakers and wires were in plane view(not like disney to do).

Matterhorn mountain....was down for rehab.

Park overview....I give it a B+. It was a good park, but kind of small and not as much to do as I would have liked. Also the castle is tiny compared to wdw.

California adventure.

California screaming...Great ride, very long. I had fun on this ride.

Tower of terror...Fun ride, but seemed smaller than the one at mgm. The theming was not as good as the one at mgm eather.

Aladdin live show....This is by farr the best show in a theme park that I have ever seen. It was done like a real hollywood production show.

Mad mouse(cant remember the real name of this coaster)....Fun little coaster.

Turtle talk...great fun for the little ones.

The rest of the park had attractions that were clones of the flordia parks like bugs life, muppets and soarin.

I give this park a C+. It was a nice park, but seemed to be lacking that disney charm.

Magic mountain.

Goliath....great ride, I actually greyed out once on this coaster.

Tatsu... By far the best flying coaster that I have been on. It had a great layout, and it was longer than superman and x flight. B&m Knows how to do it.

Viper....I really enjoyed this ride, it was not as ruff as I was expecting.

x...was not running):

Revolution....Very ruff, lots of headbanging. Whats up with the otsr's on this thing? Also, the station looks a lot smaller than it does in the movies.

psyclone....sucked!! Hated every painfull second of it. It looks like a great ride, but never judge a book by its cover.

Dejavu...running, but line was way to long.

Gold rusher....fun little ride, but needed some maintnance work done on it. The ride was more less falling apart.

Ninja.....yet another coaster not running.

collossus....I was very impressed with this ride, very fun and not as ruff as some make it out to be. Again, the station looked nothing like it does in the movies.

Batman.....well...its batman, just like all the others.

riddlers revenge.....The best standup coaster that I have been on, but the most confusing station que set up.

scream....fun ride, but they could use some landscaping(sp). It had a vibration to it at times...almost like dominator at geauga lake.

superman....not running.

flashback.....not running

Park overview...

Nice park with some great coasters(well, at least the ones that were running), But I have NEVER had as many people cut in line in front of me in my life. I also did notice that the park was dirty and needed someone to empty the garbage cans.

We had to buy a flash pass just to be able to ride all the coasters that we did. This was crazy. Some of the coasters only had 1-2 trains operating.

This park would score an A+ if they could get all the rides to open(there were a lot of closed rides, coasters and flat rides as well) and have some kind of line patrole to stop the line jumpers.

I was able to score some good deals in the gift shops, as almost everything was 50% off. I ended up with half a dozen shirts and lots of other swag.

But untill they fix these problems, ill give the park an C.

Knotts berry farm.

Ghostrider....fun coaster, a little ruff in spots...but been on much worse

xcelerator...Great ride with some great forces, but dissipointed that I could not wear my glasses even though I had straps for them. I do not understand this rule, dragster is much bigger/ faster and there is no problem with me wearing my glasses as long as I have a strap on them.

boomerang.....typical boomerang, but a little smoother than others I have been on.

jaguar.....an o-k coaster...kind of boring but it has a cool station.

Montizoomas revenge...I love these shuttle launch coasters.

Silver bullet....Great ride, had some elements that I have not seen on a invert before.

Timberline twister.....down for rehab.

Log flume....How did they fit all that into that little mountain? This was a great flume ride, makes me miss having a flume ride at cedarpoint(my home park) even more.

Park overview,

Fun park, but seems to be lacking in the thrill rides dept a little. They had some great shows like the western stunt show and the indian show(name of the show escapes me right now). Its a fun little park, but not one that I could visit often.

Also, they need a gift shop inside the park at the front gate. I was unable to find a giftshop on the way out of the park, a employee told me that there was a big shop right outside the gate...but it was already closed. They lost some money from me as I was going to buy a few t-shirts and other things.

I give this park a B-

I had a good time on this trip, the parks were a lot of fun and the atmosphere was cool. The only thing that kind of bugged me was that a lot of people in california were a little rude, but there were a lot of nice people as well.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Nice trip report. I plan on doing the same four parks in March.

Just a little note though. Soarin' in Florida is a clone of the one at DCA, not the other way around.

Thanks,

Have fun.

I had a great time at these parks, and hope to get back to magic mountain someday to hit up the coasters that were closed.

Yeah the rule on Xcelerator is dumb...

One thing I forgot to mention in my trip report was the skyhawk(cant remember name) ride at knotts.

I thought it was funny that they had a much smaller version than cedarpoint, and were charging people $5 to ride it.

^ You're referring to the Screamin' Swing. It was the first S&S Screaming Swing installation to be built and they charge an additional $5 due to its very low capacity. Cedar Point's Skyhawk is the largest model version they offer of that ride.

Are you sure the line jumpers didn't pay for the privilege? ;)

No,

That was me..lol.

I had to buy a flashpass to be able to hit all the coasters while there. We were only there for a few hours, and wanted to hit all the coasters.

I would not have bought the pass if I had been to the park before or was going to make a trip back anytime soon.
