Who has been on X-Flight and how did you like it?
I went on it twice this weekend and I waited 1 1/2 hours the first time and I waited 25 minutes the second time. I was disappointed in that ride. I thought that it wasn't the least bit intense. It was a feeling ride and in a very uncomfortable seat. I think that they should have not included a helix at the end because that pulled way too many lateral g's.
I think X Flight is awesome it has good inversions and laying down is such a good seating and you have to experince it you will love it.
How can it NOT be intense and pull way TOO many lateral g's? I haven't ridden X-Flight, but that will change in a week or so.:)

i feel like totaly screaming at anyone who bashes x-flight. so here it goes, X-FLIGHT IS THE COOLEST RIDE EVER!
i agree, just a little tip, make sure your arm doesn't hit the handles during the loop, you can't feel it for 1/2 because of the g's. Well you can actually feel it, but it feels like you hit your "funny bone" very hard. it's tingly

I thought X-FLIGHT was the most intesnse ride I've ever been on. While going through the loop and the helix I felt like my face was going to be ripped off. While it doesn't look like it's going to fast it sure packs some serious punch. I wasn't to excited about riding it since I've already been on Stealth, and they have very similar layouts, but I thought X-FLIGHT was loads better, that helix at the end really does it for me.
Now only if they could run three trains, keep it more up than down, and get rid of those 8min load times.

I've gotten 19 laps so far this year and I can tell you it's intense, especially if you marathon ride. I had bruises under my arms after riding 8 times one day. It's definately better than Stealth. It pulls a lot of G's in the loop and helix.
I think the more you ride it, the more you like it and this is why. The first couple of times you ride it, you don't know what to expect and you tense your body up (whether you realize it or not.) If you totally relax and let yourself fall into the restraints, you get the true feeling of the ride.

How many trains are running?
Are the trains reclining in the station or lift?

X-Flight is fricken intense! It has to be my #3 coaster behind The Force and Magnum. It was the only ride to ever make me dizzy!

X-Flight is pretty much just like Stealth but with a "twist" at the end. The themeing looks better then Stealth.

X-Flight is definitely an intense coaster, but I don't think it places in my top 5. Maybe it's the time that I went, but it was very poorly run. (1 train going). It took about 10 minutes each time to load and unload the previous 'flyers', the ride itself is very uncomfortable and just to top it off, you can't see where the heck you are going!

Thats what I thought too, but those in-lines are better than Stealth's corkscrews and that helix is just plain awesome. It is so cool looking above at track below and supports zooming all around you. It adds a whole new aspect to the ride.
Peabody, on Monday it had one train running, reclining in the station, and 8 min load times, and it also broke down on just about every other train.
Also, maybe I'm the only one whos noticed this, but you really wouldn't if your rode it anywhere other than the back row. This ride is really a safety hazard to the employees. On the back row they have to lean all the way across the track to push in the big lap bar for the middle two riders. I just know atleast one employee will fall and be injured by the end of the season.

I enjoyed X-Flight alot, although I had keys in my pocket that started to fall out during the ride, so I spent much of my time grabbing them to make sure that they wouldn't fall out instead of enjoying the ride. I wish I could have ridden the ride again, but I wanted to experience the other coasters in the park since it was my first time at SFWoA. Plus the trains kept getting stuck on the breaks near the end and this caused many delays on the day I was there.
Overall I thought it was a great coaster, and as my first flying coaster I couldn't have asked for much more. I really enjoyed the vertical loop.
Only one train and 8-10 minute dispatch times with frequent break downs? That's insane!!!!! I'm going a week from Tuesday, and I sure hope it is performing better than that!

The second train started running yesterday. So you can all be relieved. The second station is also running now too.

Got an early ride in yesterday morning, they actually managed to get the second train on the lift before the other returned to the station once, but most of the time they were both loading at the same time. It was a cool ride and I really felt like I could smack the supports several times.

Where's the third train? Is it somewhere nearby - like the transfer table?

Without upstops, airtime would have a whole new meaning.
The third train (the black train) sits on the transfer track. Yesterday they did run two trains (green and blue trains) on both sides. The ride continues to be great and the G's you pull going in and out of the loop as well as through the helix is insane. But I love the ride - not my favorite at the park - but it does rank pretty high on my list.

The fact that there is 2 trains running doesn't mean the line will go faster it actually means it will go slower. Because you are waiting for a station so the time is delayed because you have to wait for the other train to finish.
No, two trains is an improvement for X-Flight because there are two stations. It takes longer to load a train than it takes for a train to complete a circuit. So the trains can go pretty much as soon as they are ready...which is twice as often with two trains/stations as with one. A third train will improve things even more because there will always be two trains loading and one on the circuit.
