I wish you every happiness on your day of days!

Congrats!! I was also married on the Phoenix, and Dick & Co will do nothing but make it a great, memorable experience.

Rev. Cliff Herring doing the honors? He's a great man, and a blast to hang out with at events.

Hope everything works out for you!

Thank you for all the well wishes! All went well, and we couldn't ask for a better day. The weather was beautiful, and the Knoebels family and staff were amazing. Barbara made every effort possibe, including bring Kozmo to the pavilion to walk us in, and the antique car ride around the park with the just married decorations, drivin by Dick, was wonderful! The employees were top notch. Right after the ceremony, we had 2 rides on the Phoenix, pics and a ride on the Grand Carosel, and pics and a ride on the pioneer train

Also, while I have basically grown up at Knoebels, it was my first time every eating Knoebels Catering. WOW, the food was amazing and delicious. It totally surpassed my expectations. DELICIOUS!

And last, to answer a question from Coasterfantom2, we actually had a District Justice from where we live in Pottsville come up to do it, which I could never show my gratitude to for what he did!

Congratulations!!! What a wonderful way to celebrate! I wish you and yours all the best. ^_^

And yes! Pictures!

Watch out for flying maps!

Congratulations and good luck!

I remembered you mentioning this awhile ago. I was at the park yesterday PM, but had forgotten about it. If I had remembered, we'd have come over and thrown caramel corn at you and your bride. :)

There's more to a honeymoon?

Dang.... now we know why I'm divorced.....

I've got to second the comment someone made earlier--What in the hell is wrong with Geagua Lake? With the ferryboats and the floating bridge, I'm sure they'll find some "quality time." Heck, even Lego Racers 4D has a romantic edge to it for an animated flick. Just steer clear of The Villain and everything should be fine:)

WTH is wrong with GL? We always have fun when we go.... but if we want a nice easy day at a clean park riding rides, then hanging in the waterpark, GL is perfect.

Are we talking about the same GL here? When I was there for EXT, the park had trash all over (even with the numerous trashcans) and the waterpark, well trying to enjoy that would be ANYTHING but nice and easy. Once you trudge over the 4 minute walk of a floating bridge you have to shift and mill around with the locals who are anything but "nice" -- "easy", well... this board is read by kids so I'll move on. While it has decent slides, you won't have much fun waiting in line with those foul mouthed, blue collared and otherwise repulsive people who seem to think of WWK as their spawn pools. If you are anything like us and the people we went to EXT with, you will look out of place and the locales will look at you and wonder why the hell you are there and not up the road at that "other park" as they kept referring to it.

Not to say, you cannot have fun -- just lets be honest here... its GL and if it was MY honeymoon, I think I would skip it and perhaps check out Kalahari instead.

I need some Honeymoon tips! I don't think I need to worry about kennywood or G. Lake, but Cedar Point is the focus of this question. I will be there on Wed and Thur. First, does Cedar Point do any kind of Flash Pass/Q-bot, how does it work there, how much does it cost, and is it worth it and is it a must have? The only reason I ask is because of the 8 hour drive it is for me to get there, and I don't see myself getting the chance to visit often, so I want to make the most of my time.

Any help is appreciated!

nope, other than morning ERT for those staying onsite, you have to queue it up with everyone else if you want to ride something. It's like Disneyland before Fastpass there. No different "levels" of park guests anymore.

Honeymoon tips? How about a romantic day without coasters?

Just to give both of you a little time to...you know...start on some Jr. enthusiasts. ;)

Why aren't you going to WDW or on a cruise or something for your honeymoon? A coaster trip to Ohio doesn't sound too romantic to me.

For our's we went to WDW then took a cruise ship to the Bahamas and stayed a week then came back and went to BGT, SFoG, Dollywood and Holiday World on the way back home to Missouri.

To answer the above post, this is what we wanted. This past January, we were in Cancun MX, for a week, so the whole coaster theme just worked well for the wedding/honeymoon.

Right now as I write this, I am in the Best Western, right outside of cedar point! Just got here. We did Kennywood sunday evening. Other than Phantoms revenge, I wasn't impressed. It was a nice park, clean, great prices! Very nice looking at night, and while I meet some of the freindliest employees there, I also meet some of the rudest. It was a weird contrast. Also, I found Jackrabbit and Racer to be unamusing. Boring even. Thunderbolt was neat, though I don't understand why you must have 2 ppl per seat.

G Lake, was a great time. I have many questions to ask, but will do so later, when I get home. But this park intrigued me. Why is it so DEAD?????

Well I must get to bed, I will update soon!!!

Cedar point in the morning!
