Dorney Park has turned on a Webcam to show construction progress on Talon, their new inverted B&M for the 2001 season. You can watch Talon grow on the official Dorney site.
does anyone know the color scheme yet? i was thinking it was purple, orange, and yellow
Well, so far... purple supports. We will have to wait a while for track. Although Wildfire is already almost done!! I guess B&M can put a coaster up pretty fast, if they have a lot to do in the winter.
------------- So you want a coaster in your backyard? I hope you have a big backyard.
I believe the track will be orange with yellow rails which will be different since B&M usually uses gray rails.
The supports look blue.

I imagine Talon will be up pretty quickly... Standard with B&M's!
Great, another thing to help spend the offseason.;)
------------- Ride with full FORCE
I think I'll be hitting Allentown in 2001. I haven't visited Dorney since Steel Force in 97.
The latest from the web cam (10/31/00) looks like they got the brake section supports up, same with some of the station up , too. In looks like they got all of that up in one day!!!!
