Weather at BGW in October

I was thinking about hitting BGW in mid-October. Is it very cold over there that time of year and are all the rides open? Thanks.

It could be very cold that time of year... it could be very warm that time of year.

A few years ago I can remember a heavy frost and canteen water freezing over night in mid October. Granted, that was in Middletown VA in the Shennandoah Valley pretty far west of Williamsburg.

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

Anywhere from 58-72 degrees high temp. It is really hard to judge. All the rides at BGW will be open though, and roller coasters are great in any weather, so I say go!

BTW, one October it was 70 degrees during the day and I was at SFA in shorts and short sleeves. Maybe I should not have ridden Superman at the end of the night when the temp was around 40... I could barely move my fingers afterwards. Think about the weather at all times during the day.

I'd say in the morning and afternoon it will be daylight and anytime after 9 or so it will be dark, I know that for sure

It is pretty good weather in Auguest. About what SFA rules said.

I was at bgw last october for haowloscream and it was comfortable but we;re talking about virginia here. so it coudl be ahy where from 50's-70's but expect mid 60s. but come with clothes for that temperature range and expect it to get much cooler once the sun start going down.

All at once the ghosts come back reeling you in now.

I went last year for Howl O Scream and it got pretty chilly. 3 days later I was riding Nitro in NJ in 41 degree weather. Pack pants and a sweater just in case.
