WDW Live Webcams

Random, but legit question. Anyone have any idea why WDW doesn't have any live webcams across their properties?

You would think that Disney could capitalize on some serious internet ad revenue by offering live webcams for people across the globe to access. Am I missing something?

I suspect that if Disney, master of separating guests from their money and making them feel happy about handing it over, saw sufficient profit in doing so they would be.

Trust me, online ad revenue is a silly pursuit. That, and they don't need cams to draw people there.

Frankly, I wonder how successful any park's webcams are at drawing customers.

I'll confess: I thoroughly enjoy hanging out at Pointbuzz, but the fascination with where the webcams are pointed on any given day -- I just don't get it. For me, it's about as interesting as watching paint dry.

During the off-season, it allows us to see construction and demolition. I like to see what's going on at the park during the regular season.

OK, then I'll just turn on AdBlock plus on here and PointBuzz.
