I'm getting three credits from my college, so I'm going to take Summer Courses this summer. Not much of a problem since I'll had just been in Orlando for 5 months. I'm so excited!
I'm kind of glad that it wasn't though because I wouldn't have been able to work on Magnum this year had I gone down to Disney for the summer.

Yeah, when they came to my campus last year I was excited because I thought that it entailed the Imagineering division of Disney, but unfortunately I found out that it was just the same type of work I was doing at Cedar Point.
Disney offers internships outside of the WDW College Program. Go to disneycareers.com and you will see them. Disney also scouts various design competitions.
Up until this semester I was an architecture major and Disney was present at a few competitions that my school entered. They were recruiting for 6 month internships in Glendale, CA for work on Hong Kong.
...and such
And yes, it just about is the same type of work you do at Cedar Point (load, unload, "Welcome to *whatever ride*), except at Disney you have more personal responsibility and you don't feeled tied down to having to beat your previos hour's DOR. Not that I'm knocking my time at Cedar Point, I loved everyone second I worked there, but Disney just makes you feel more at ease with your job. *** Edited 12/2/2004 6:43:11 PM UTC by vdude02***
