Me and 3 friends got to MW at 10am, did lethal weapon, which is getting more and more painful, you'd think with the speed the SLC's go through the course that they could afford to spring load the side friction wheels and upstops and have constant contact throughout the ride, I mean it would make the ride so much better. I actually have visible bruises on me today.
Anyway after doing Lethal Weapon we headed to Scooby Doo, a highly themed Mack wild mouse/ghost train (indoor). Great ride as usual, my friends didn't know about the vertical lift, which is quite funny seeing their surprise when the track ended. Gotta love the scooby do theme playing through out the coaster part of the ride.
At about midday we got a call from my friends sister saying she had free tickets to the Chilli Peppers, so we were pretty excited about that, even though it was only 4 tickets and there were 5 people that wanted to go (my friends girlfriend too). On our way home he got a call and we had an extra ticket.
Anway, the concert was awesome, amazing lighting effects and they did all their old stuff and some songs off their new CD. Pretty cool considering tickets were $80-$120AU ($40-$60US) a ticket. (we were on the floor, about 30 meters back, pretty good view)
Just thought I'd post this, as to me it was a perfect day - Coasters and one of my favorite bands.

See THE ULTIMATE in Orlando TR'S! Right now in the TR fourm!
http://www.totalthrills.com (auscoasterman's site) will probably have some up soon and I would imagine will have some non-ride photos.
rcdb and thrillnetwork both have some pics of some of the rides.
It is a nice park, hopefully we will see a new coaster soon (hopes for b&m). It is quite small at the moment, but they do own heaps of land, so hopefully they will expand soon.

Sounds like Australia may be due for some new coasters over the next few years, huh? Really cool, I'd love to make it there someday...
As far as the Chili Peppers, that is TOO cool. Way back when (in the OLD days) they actually got a gig here on UF campus. Eventually, they were *escorted* offstage and ended up playing "improv" at some venue downtown. Their FIRST video, for "True Men Don't Kill Coyotes" played virtually around the clock here in '84 on a college 24-hour videos station we had called TV-69. The only other video that got THAT much airplay on the short-lived station was Devo's "Are You Experienced"....
and yet people *wonder* about how someone could end up as "the gator"... ;)
