Waterslides replacing coasters?

I like to spend time in waterparks, but I can't stand the lines. One thing I like about waterparks is that in the heat of summer it makes for short waits for the coasters.

Dorney park is a good example. Go in the waterpark, and you can barely move. Go to the ride side, and everything(Except water rides)is a walk on. Gotta love it.

Does cp add soak city and cedarpoint attendance together at the end of the season? Or are they two seperate gates?

They're two gates. I don't think adding them together makes it apples-apples either, because Soak City is very much a part of the resort. It's a separate gate because they can get away with charging for it, being surrounded by hotels. Including it with the rest of the park would mean pissing away a ton of money.
