Waterslide with an inversion

Does anyone know if there are any waterslides that take you upside down? I think I remember hearing a while back about one called Action Park, or something like that, located near New York, or in that vicinity. Supposedly they had a looping slide, but I'm not really sure how it's possible. If anyone has ever been there, let me know how it was.

Yes, Action Park did have looping waterslide. You had to be a certain weight so you would be able to make it all the way around the loop. I do know that many people got stuck in the loop, and that they had a special trap door to get the people who got stuck in the loop out. Action Park, as far as I know, was one of the most unsafe parks ever. It is now known as Mountain Creek.

If I recal, you needed to be at least 135 lbs to make it through the loop.

Barely would I make it through that loop, at 140 pounds I'm skinny and that couldn't be too fun. Did they have a person standing around to help you out so that some other people didn't get stuck with you? What, a water spray or something to push you through or is it old school stunt man bicycle ramp style?
I'd die, im only 120 pounds!

You can see pics of this loop in the book White Knuckle Ride. It's just a 360 loop, and kind of small. It looks like one of the most dangerous things ever! Very interesting, though.
A water slide with a loop would be awesome but it sounds like the cirle loops on coasters in the old days that snaps peoples necks.
Anyone own the book White Knuckle Ride and can scan us a pic. of that crazy waterslide?

thats sounds kind of odd having a loop on a waterslide and think about it how many people most of got injured! Is it still running?
I have the white knuckle ride book. That picture has always made me wonder. It looks like there is no way in hell anyone could make it through the loop, the whole thing looks very makeshift. I would honestly be scared to even try it. Sorry i have no scanner available though
i have that book too it seems impossible
