Waterparks (Ohio)

I was just kind of curious, what in your opinion is the best waterpark in Ohio? I havent been to soak city, I havent been to SFWoA in 2 years, and I havent been to PKI waterpark either (if you didnt notice i spend my time on the coasters:))

So I was askin what is the best waterpark in Ohio in your opinions.

The best water park in Ohio, bar none is The Beach. It is the only water park in Ohio with a master Blaster, and it has tons of slides. The kiddie are there is also one of the best in Ohio.

Hmmm this is a somewhat tough question for me, there are a lot of water parks in Ohio (at least for a seasonal state. Each park has something pretty neat to offer. This is my opinion:

1 The Beach-Great Park Great Setting!

2 Hurricane Harbor- SFWoA Something for everyone and one of the best wave pools in Ohio!

3 Soak City- Lots of things to do, lots of slides and next to a great park

4 Dover Lake- While not a park known for it's slides it's a unique place. The tube slide/LazyRiver/What is this ride/etc. Is one of the coolest things I have ridden and takes FOEREVER to come down if you don't know the secrets! Dover Lake also added a 8000+ft Lazy River this year. Not to mention they have a ski lift that takes you to the top!

5- PKI's Waterworks- Great water park just everything is SOOOOo spaced out and walking around in barefeet is not fun there...they need to add some more to their collection.

6- Pioneer Waterland- GREAT water slides very well kept

7 Wyandot Lake- Again some great slides, second best Wave Pool in Ohio, and one of the best Christopher Island water play areas. They always have EVERYONE of their water gizmos working on that thing.

There are also quite a few more like Surf Cincinnati, and Coney Island but those are just a few with some my thoughts :)

I also think the best water park in Ohio is the Beach. I love all their slides and pools.
Pioneer Waterland is a hidden gem.

What is often overlooked in the Six Flags bashing is that WoA has an excellent waterpark (with one of the best kids sections in the country) and it is included in park admission.

Soak City is great and I love the Adventure River.

No question, it's the Beach.

I've never seen anything like their Hidden Rapids anywhere else. Snake River Rapids is neat too - half tube slide, half lazy river, with a killer drop at the end. The body slides are all glassy smooth, unlike the rough painful slides at PKI and other theme parks.

The little touches make a difference too: The queue under the waterfall for Snake River Rapids; the tunnel at the bottom of the steep body slide; and the sandy beaches to walk through and relax in.

Talking about it right now, I can't believe I don't go there more often.

What is the beach, I have never heard of it. Where is it?

It is a waterpark directly across the interstate from PKI. I would guess it was built in the mid- to late-1980's and PKI responded a few years later with Waterworks.

This should help you out with any information you might have about it:
