Water Rides in RCT2

Ok, this is something I have been wondering about ever since I heard RCT2 was coming out. Have they 'turnedup the speed on the lifts and water parts for the log ide, river ride, raft ride, etc? I realy hope they have, because one of my pet peeves for the original was the slow speed these rides moved at. Thanx.

I also hope the splash on the River Ride (I know they renamed it to Splash Boats I think) is bigger and more realistic...

The splash is retty much the same height.

Are there any new water rides including improvements on original ones?

While you can adjust the speed of lifts on the coasters, it doesn't appear you can do the same with the flumes and such.
Can the flow for the logs go faster than 2mph? Always seemed a bit sluggish.

Thats what I was wondering. Im not necesarily looking to adjust the speed of the lifts/water channel, just wondering if the set speed on them has been boosted or not. Also, from the screenshots it appears that you can have more boats on the log ride than in RCT. Is this true or not? Thanx.

I don't like the shape of the wave when the splash boats go down a hill in rct2. thats one of the things I whished they would change

It's coming: RCT 2

The flume I built had about 5 extra boats hanging off the end of the platform, so yes there are more boats.
You're allowed to have more than 12 vehicles on a ride now. The log flume's base speed seems to be 3 mph instead of 2 mph now, as well.

I had a log flume with 30 boats! That's insane!

The speed of the log flumes is realistic because log flumes are slow. They only go fast if they are going downhill like in the game.
Wow, at least they have boosted their capacity significanty. That was the main reason that they were such a bad investment in the original game.

The log flumes I've been on aren't as slow as RCT's. They must've been going at least 3-4 mph on the lift, almost as much as many rollercoasters.

i wish they couldve put the log flume with a circle station

While on the topic of water rides, what about the litte wet/dry water slides, you know the ones you ride in a rubber boat?

In RCT II are the boats still filled with hydrogen? :) (In RCT I if rubber boat came flying off the trough it crashed and burned even though there should not have been any combustible substance to ignite.)

The neat thing about having separate loading/unloading stations is you can finally make the waters slide boat ride more accurate. Load the peeps at the top of the slide, unload them at the bottom, then use the lift hill to carry the empty boats back to the top.

Thats cool I always wanted that now the game is alittle bit like a water slide tycoon but there are still more coasters. At SFGAm the lifts on loggers run a flume ride. The lifts go pretty fast there just a rubber convarer belt (how ever you spell that) under you. I goes quiet fast compared to RCT
Conveyor isn't it? I have no clue either! Man, where'd that spell check go...

87 different coasters for this year and counting... 149 total!

Most log flumes average about 10 MPH when the flume isn't filled to capacity with water. Splash mountain adds more water to the system in a particular section of the ride to spread the boats out equally.
