Water problems?

I a park I am making, I cannot get water to fill a lowered area. Is there something wrong with this feature or am I just nuts?

Basically instead of raising the water like you used to, it seems you have to click somewhere around the level you want the water to go and it will fill up automatically. So if you have a trench or something, click on the side of the trench just below ground level and it should fill it up for you.

Thanks, I thought I had completely lost my mind...

By searching the forum, you can find other fairly recent threads in which it was determined that it's a problem with some graphics cards. There was a "temporary" patch that was put out by atari until patch #2 came out. Now that patch #2 is out, I think you just need to download/install the patch and it will fix the water problem.
