Water Park Design

I would surely trust Ed Meyer...... seeing as he can build a MAGLEV Coaster.....um.......yeh. I would go for more trust worthy people like NBGS like you mentioned in your post.

I would be more than happy to list off to you all the names and phone numbers of water slide companies. Feel free to IM me at protoaxisdesign, and i'll list off everything you need from design consultants, to water slide manufacturers, to the companies who put the rides together.

You know, if you want I could wip something up for you in Pro-E (You are in Mech-E.....hopefully you will take a Pro-E class) If this is just something for a proposal you could put some cool Pro-E 3d pics....nothing like what badnitrus does, but it is quick and easy.

tried to send you a message on here dont know if you reccieved it or not...............

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

Its been a while.........i finally finished the design....+/-5 acres currently, 2 slide towers (tube/body), 4 slides in each tower, lazy river, kiddy aqua play area, 2 18ft diameter splash areas, plenty lawn chairs, arcade, eatery, volleyball court (2 nets), and changing facilities/restrooms.

Now im tryin to find a reasonable CAD program so i can really get a good idea of hows things will be.......any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Keep up the work.
Just noticed this thread...if you haven't found all that you needed already, you could try the IAAPA website http://www.iaapa.org under publications for their buyer's guide.

Outside of that, to throw in my two cents, I'd really go for a wave pool from the start. With that few slides, you'll need more to get anyone who isn't a family with young kids to stay. Granted I have no formal experience there, but from my own experience, a pool is generally a starting point for a waterpark unless you have something else there already established.

Good luck.

In addition to a conceptual design, you will probably need some kind of water distribution layout plan as well
What's have you completed so far Coasterbruh?

Thanks
