"Water" coaster

Screamscape says that there was another rumor of one of those water coasters like Hershey's going in at Kennywood (of course, also said CCI people were touring behind Racer and Jackrabbit). I was wondering if anyone's ridden this type and their opinions of it?
We just rode the Saturator at Carowinds and loved it. People are on the ground manning water cannons and blasting people on the coaster. Up on the coaster, you pull back a lever and drop water bombs on the water cannon stations. You wear swimsuits to enter the area because you're just dripping wet the whole time. The coaster itself is a hanging steel family ride. It would fit right over top of the Raging Rapids, the Lagoon or the pool in Old Kennywood, so would not need to take up much space. It could also go in down at Sandcastle. As a matter of fact, it is almost more of a water park ride than a regular park ride.

That's what I was thinking about Sandcastle - maybe they'll put this ride at Sandcastle and put a nice B&M inverter or a CCI monster in Kennywood =)

Putting it over the lagoon would ruin the effect of Lost Kennywood, I don't think they'd do that. Over Raging Rapids makes sense though.

It is definitely more of a water ride....and it is an absolute blast. On Roller Soaker, we got completely soaked just waiting in line. One advantage to it is that you don't need a lot of space for it because portions of it can be built over existing water rides. There is virtually no thrills that this ride provides from a coaster perspective, but it provides just as much fun as any coaster that I have been on.

Happy Coastering!
